Itinerary
- Day 1
Tasman Peninsula
Start the day at Remarkable Caves carpark where you'll hike across coastal sand dunes with a chance to spot echidnas along the way. From there, head inland to Mount Brown's summit for views looking out toward Cape Pillar, Tasman Island, and the rough coastline below. The trail then opens up to Crescent Bay beach, which tends to be quiet and worth spending some time at. Once you're back at the lodge, relax before dinner with some pre-dinner snacks and a two-course meal that your guides prepare.

- Day 2
Cape Raoul
After breakfast and getting lunch sorted, you'll do a day walk back into Tasman National Park heading toward Cape Raoul. The pace is comfortable with just a few steep sections mixed in, and you'll get expansive views across the Tasman Peninsula, over to Bruny Island, and down Tasmania's southern coast. The dolerite cliffs are impressive, and be prepared for the intense winds this area is known for. Back at the lodge, you'll have nibbles and a two-course dinner prepared by your guides.

Cape Hauy
Today tackles the moderately hard Cape Hauy trail with its well-built path and fantastic views throughout. You'll walk through She Oaks and Banksia forests and climb to the first saddle where you can see north toward Maria Island and south to Cape Pillar. Follow the cliff edges for dramatic vistas, then check out the exceptional rock formations like the Candlestick and Totem Pole before heading back the same way. Return to your lodge, and if you're interested, Port Arthur Historic Site is available this afternoon at your own expense.

Wilderness Cruise and Return to Hobart
After breakfast and lunch preparations, board the 3-hour Wilderness Cruise, which gets very close to spectacular rock formations along the coast with regular stops for viewing and taking photos. Keep an eye out for seals, albatross, and white-bellied sea eagles during the ride. By 1pm you're back on dry land for lunch, then it's time to head back to Hobart, arriving around 4:30pm at Hotel Grand Chancellor on Davey Street.
