On their instructions we didn't get an in transit visa, only to be turned away at the airport. When we queried this with them they told us to look at their booking conditions, they do not take any responsibility for any incorrect information that they provided. We were supposed to celebrate 3 very momentous occasions only to be left stranded at the airport. The best part is that they invited us back to go to a presentation for upcoming tours. No refund, no credit. They have our money and we have a sour taste, bad experience. Never again Trafalgar. You do not care about your clients.Show more

We gained an insight into the Spanish people and culture and their marvelously diverse country that we will always remember. Geographically we saw the large cities of Madrid and Barcelona as well as the agricultural areas of the south. To have seen Mayer Plaza in Madrid on the National Day gave us a good sense of the exuberance of the Spanish people in celebration. - SALLY· September 1st, 2023The tour guide imparted a lot of knowledge to us and was very thorough. I feel the quality of the complimentary food provided could have been better. The standard has dropped since yesteryears having been on a previous Trafalgar tour. The thing I have the greatest problem with is that the seating circulation around the tour bus was seriously lacking. It did not allow for equal movement throughout the bus and my party of four remained at the back throughout the tour. It felt as if some were favoured more than others. There were people who started the tour around mid bus like us and they kept moving towards the front throughout the tour whereas we kept moving to the back. We were always the last to get off the bus This was indicated to the tour guide and he did nothing. For a eight day tour we were moved one row per day. So for an extremely big bus you never get the chance to arrive at the front for those who were unfortunate as we were to have started in the middle of the bus. Equal movement for all would have meant dividing the amount of rows by the number of days and skipping that amount of rows per day so that people would have moved throughout the bus. My family of 4 were stifled throughout at the back and we were very unhappy. Morever my two teenagers who were bursting with curiousity felt deprived of the opportunity that equal rotation would have afforded . I am not sure that I would do another Trafalgar tour again as I have been on several other tours with different companies who have more equal rotation around the tour bus commensurate with the number of days that the tour last. We all paid our money and should be afforded equal opportunities.
