Casablanca to Rabat
Your private driver meets you at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport, and depending on when you land, you might have time to check out the Hassan II Mosque before heading up the coast. Once in Rabat, you'll get a guided tour of Morocco's capital, walking through the Royal Palace gates and the blue streets of the Udayas Kasbah. From there, you'll see Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V before settling in.

Rabat to Chefchaouen
Your drive takes you north into the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. After checking in, a guide walks you through this hillside town, heading to the top wall of the medina for views, then through the blue streets until reaching Uta El Hammam square. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own, sip mint tea in the square, visit the 15th-century Kasbah with its museum and gardens, or watch the sunset from the Spanish Mosque on the hill above.

Chefchaouen
Today is free for you to wander Chefchaouen's blue streets and medina at your own pace. Grab meals or drinks at Hotel Parador in the main square, or head to Ras El Ma, a small waterfall where locals do laundry. If you want something more active, an optional 10-mile hike to Cascade d'Akchour takes you to a large waterfall with fresh orange juice and cool pools along the way, though it's somewhat challenging.

Volubilis - Moulay Idriss Zerhoun - Meknes - Fes
You'll depart Chefchaouen heading south toward Fes, stopping at Volubilis with its Roman ruins from the third century BCE. After a guided look around, lunch happens in Moulay Idriss Zerhoun at the sacred city where Idriss I's Tomb sits. Then it's on to Meknes to explore the old medina, the Tomb of Sultan Moulay Ismail, the Agdal Reservoir, and Heri es-Souani, a former granary and stable, before heading to Fes for the night.

Fes
After breakfast, you'll meet a local guide for a full tour of Fes, starting at the Royal Palace and walking through the old Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Climb to one of the Borj towers for views across the medina, then see traditional pottery demonstrations at a mosaic house. Your guide takes you through ancient medina streets showing you artisan sections including the tanneries, the Tomb of Idriss II, and Al-Qarawaiyin University, one of the world's oldest continuously operated universities. The tour wraps up after lunch, leaving your afternoon free.

Fes to Erg Chebbi (Sahara Desert)
This is a long drive toward a traditional encampment in the Sahara Desert. You'll pass through Africa's largest cedar forest, home to Atlas monkeys, and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains with lunch in Midelt. From there, continue through mountains via the Ziz River Gorge until reaching the large dunes of Erg Chebbi before sunset. Hop on a camel to trek into the dunes to your luxury camp, then climb the nearest dune to watch the sunset and stars. The night includes traditional food, live music, and stargazing.

Rise early to watch sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast before riding your camel back to the edge. Your driver meets you to head toward Dades Gorge, stopping to see an ancient irrigation system that brought water from the Saghro Mountains. Head to the oasis town of Tinghir for a guided walk through the palmeraie and mellah. Visit Todra Gorge, walking through the canyon's most impressive section, then continue to the Dades River Valley to rest for the night.

Today you'll drive to the Valley of Roses to get a real sense of everyday Moroccan life. Stop at a local market before arriving at a local family's home where you'll help prepare traditional lunch while learning Moroccan cooking secrets. Spend the afternoon sharing experiences with locals. After saying goodbye, you can explore more of the valley or head to a market to buy items made with rose petals, the flower that gives this region its name and economic importance.

You'll travel the Road of the 1,000 Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, Morocco's 'Hollywood,' with a quick stop before heading to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. Explore this impressive ksar with its traditional clay architecture, then continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, sitting almost 7,000 feet above sea level and offering one of Morocco's most striking drives. With stops for tea and panoramic views, you'll reach Marrakech by early evening.

Marrakech to Imlil
Say goodbye to Marrakech and head toward the valleys of the Toubkal Massif. Cross the Haouz Plain and pass through the village of Asni before entering the High Atlas Mountains foothills to reach Imlil. Walk around the small village or visit its local hammam for a relaxing soak. Try to be outside when the call to prayer sounds, as its powerful echo bounces through the mountains. Head to bed early since tomorrow brings a challenging mountain trek.

Mount Toubkal Trek
Rise before sunrise to begin the long, challenging hike to Mount Toubkal's summit at 13,667 feet (4,165 m), the highest peak in North Africa. Navigate through boulders and rocks with views that'll push you through the demanding trek. At the summit, take in panoramic views of the snowcapped Atlas Mountains and celebrate your accomplishment. Begin the descent back to Imlil where your driver meets you. Treat yourself to relaxation at a hammam or spa back in Marrakech.

Marrakech to Essaouira
Head from Marrakech toward the coastal city of Essaouira, stopping at a local argan oil cooperative to see how this rare oil gets produced. Once in Essaouira, you have the option to visit the wharf with a guide, picking fresh fish and seafood from the local catch of the day and having it grilled Moroccan-style at a nearby restaurant.
