Arusha
Your guide meets you at the airport and drives you to Arusha Parrot Hotel for the trip briefing. You'll go over the safari details and get important tips about what to expect. If there's time before dinner, you can choose from optional activities like waterfall hikes, canoeing, nature walks around town, or visiting the hot springs.

Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast, the guide picks you up for the drive into Tarangire National Park. You'll spend the full day on a game drive looking for large herds of elephants, different birds, big cats, and other wildlife. The Tarangire River draws lots of animals, particularly when it's dry season and water becomes scarce elsewhere.

Tarangire to Serengeti
You'll head out early after breakfast and drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to see the crater from above. Then you'll continue into Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive around Central Serengeti and the Seronera River Valley. The lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, and elephants hang out here year-round, and if you want, there's an optional bush dinner in the evening.

Serengeti
This is a full day exploring Serengeti with game drives in the morning and evening when animals are most active. The landscape is massive and holds the Big Five plus spotted hyenas, jackals, and countless other animals. You can add on a hot air balloon ride if you'd like to see the park from the air.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you'll take one more game drive through Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. By afternoon you'll reach the lodge sitting right on the crater rim with great views. Spend the evening at the lodge, relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow's crater exploration.

Ngorongoro Crater and Departure
On your final day, you'll drive down into Ngorongoro Crater to explore this unique ecosystem. Over 25,000 animals live here year-round including lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, elephants, zebras, hippos, wildebeest, and cheetahs. The crater has grassland and acacia forest spread across the dramatic caldera floor. After the crater visit, you'll head back up and drive to the airport for your departure flight.
