Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
Your hotel picks you up early in Cusco and takes you to Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, where you'll see rescued animals like condors and other wildlife. From there, you head to Pisac, an Inca archaeological site in the Sacred Valley with temples, palaces, and ancient farming terraces that show how people farmed on steep mountain slopes. After exploring Pisac, you'll spend time in the Colonial Village checking out the Indian Market for handicrafts and local goods. Then it's on to Ollantaytambo, one of South America's oldest continuously inhabited towns, where Inca constructions are still standing after centuries. If you're heading back to Cusco, there's a stop in Chinchero to see traditional Andean textile workshops and how locals create textiles by hand. The day wraps up with hotel drop-off by 5:30 pm.
