Itinerary

Day 1
Trabzon/Rize to Ayder Plateau
You'll arrive at Trabzon or Rize airport and head straight to Maçka to check out the historic Sümela Monastery. From there, the route takes you through Solaklı Valley where you'll see the Tiled Bridge and stop at a Horse Farm. Later you'll reach the Observation Deck at Uzungol, which has views of artificial waterfalls. By evening you'll settle into your mountain hotel on Ayder Plateau.

Ayder Plateau
After breakfast from your hotel, you'll start exploring the highlands beginning with Senyuva village and the Sevdaluk bridge. The itinerary includes Zilkale, Palovit Waterfall, and the Boxwood Forests. You'll also walk through Badara Plateau during the afternoon. The day wraps up at Gito Plateau before heading back to your base at Ayder Plateau.

Ayder Plateau to Macahel
You'll have breakfast at your hotel and then head toward Arhavi to see the Double Bridges and visit Mençuna Waterfall. From there you travel to Macahel where you'll stay overnight in local mountain accommodation.

Macahel to Rize/Trabzon

We liked how easy going the itinerary was as we were on a different tour prior to this and it was just nonstop go go go. That said, there was a lot of down time to rest & recover so I think 3 nights vs 4 would’ve sufficed. Nonetheless our experience was good. The customer service was super responsive and reliable. Our driver made us feel safe and comfortable given the roads were narrow and slippery from the rain. Our tour guide was very warm and welcoming and took her time to show us around. The accommodation was superb. The host made us wonderful breakfast and the view was to die for. I would recommend anyone planning to visit Rize/Trabzon to book with this tour.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 23rd, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 23rd, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Holitera Turizm . The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
