Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Izmir to Ephesus
Your hotel pickup happens early so you can catch your flight to Izmir. Once you land, the first stop is the Virgin Mary House, which sits in a peaceful hillside setting. From there you'll head to Ephesus where the ancient ruins really take center stage. You'll walk through the Celsus Library with its impressive facade, check out the Temple of Hadrian, and see the Theater where thousands once gathered. The Artemis Temple site gives you a sense of what this place meant in ancient times. Around midday you'll grab lunch at a local restaurant and have a chance to look through Turkish handicrafts and souvenirs. By afternoon you're back at your hotel with the rest of the day open to rest up or explore on your own.

- Day 2
Pamukkale and Hierapolis
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out on a roughly 3 hour drive toward Pamukkale. Lunch happens at a local restaurant once you arrive in that area. The Hierapolis Ancient City is your next focus, where you can see the Antique Theatre, walk along Marble Street, and check out the ancient cemetery. Later in the afternoon the white Calcium Terraces become your main attraction, and you'll have free time to relax there. If you want to swim in the thermal Cleopatra Pool it's available but costs extra. The return flight to Istanbul takes you back in the evening, and you'll have an overnight stay in Istanbul with airport transfer included.
