Itinerary

Day 1
Colombo to Kandy
You'll be picked up at Bandaranaike International Airport and driven toward Kandy. On the way, stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see the large collection of Asian elephants there. After that, you'll visit Gadaladeniya Temple and Lankathilaka Aramaya, both dating back to the 14th century. Once you check into your hotel, head out in the evening to the Temple of the Tooth Relic and catch a Kandy Cultural Show.

Day 2
Kandy
After breakfast, walk through Udawatta Kele Forest Reserve, a 104-hectare forest area that sits on a hill ridge and used to be a royal garden. Stop at Arthur's Seat viewpoint to see Kandy city and its lake from 550m up. Then visit Bahirawakanda Temple, which has a large Buddha statue just five minutes from the city center. Head south to Embekke Devalaya temple, and if you're up for it, climb Ambuluwawa Tower at 3,567 meters for views of the surrounding area. Head back to your hotel later in the day.

Kandy to Colombo
Start with breakfast and then drive back toward Colombo, making several stops along the route. Visit Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya to see thousands of tropical plants and different flora. Next, stop at Giragama Tea Factory to learn how Ceylon Tea gets produced and pick up some local varieties. Before heading to the airport, browse a Spice Garden to purchase items. From there you'll be transferred to Colombo International Airport for departure.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
