Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo Airport to Giza
Your driver meets you at Cairo airport and drives about an hour to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Once you check in, your guide sits down with you to go over what's coming up on the tour and answers any questions you have.

Giza Plateau and Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, you'll head out to the Giza Plateau with your guide to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus up close. You'll also visit the Great Sphinx and then check out the Valley Temple to learn how the ancient Egyptians buried their pharaohs. Later in the day, the Grand Egyptian Museum is on the schedule, where you can wander through the gardens and see the main exhibition hall.

- Day 3
Islamic and Coptic Cairo to Aswan
You're picked up after breakfast to explore the Islamic and Coptic sections of Cairo. Your guide takes you through the Salah El Din Citadel, including the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and Al Gowhara palace. Then you head to Old Cairo to see the Roman fortress, the Hanging Church, and St. Sergius church. Before heading to the Egyptian Museum to look at pharaonic and Roman artifacts, you'll stop at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Late afternoon your driver takes you to Cairo train station for an overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

- Day 4
Aswan
When you arrive at Aswan train station, a driver transfers you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship. After checking in and freshening up, you start exploring Aswan with your guide. You'll see the High Dam and take a motorboat to Philae Temple. Then you settle in for your first night aboard the cruise.

- Day 5
Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo and Edfu
This morning starts early at 4:30 AM for your guided tour to Abu Simbel. You'll head back to Aswan in the afternoon, then the cruise starts sailing down the Nile. The boat stops at Kom Ombo Temple so you can explore with your guide before continuing toward Edfu. You'll spend another night on the cruise.

Edfu and Luxor
You have free time while the cruise sails along the Nile. During the stop in Edfu, your guide takes you through the Temple of God Horus. The ship continues sailing toward Luxor and arrives in the late afternoon. That night, you're back on the cruise.

Luxor West and East Banks to Cairo
After breakfast you explore Luxor's west bank, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon with your guide. Then you cross to the east bank to see Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. That evening your driver takes you to Luxor train station for an overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Cairo
The train pulls into Cairo station around 7 AM. Your driver meets you there for the transfer to Cairo airport. If you'd rather, you can arrange to be dropped at your hotel in Cairo or Giza instead.
