Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca to Chefchaouen
Your driver will meet you at Casablanca airport and head north along the coast toward Rabat. You'll spend the day seeing the Oudaya Kasbah fortress, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of former kings before checking out the Royal Palace. From there, the route takes you through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, where the buildings are painted in shades of blue. Once you settle into your accommodation, you can wander around the local streets on your own.

- Day 2
Chefchaouen to Fes
After breakfast in Chefchaouen, you'll start driving toward Fes through the Rif Mountains. The route includes stops at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the pilgrimage town of Moulay Idriss. Later you'll reach Meknes, a UNESCO site, where you'll see Bab Mansour gate, Qara prison, L'hdim square, and Sehrij E'ssouani. The day ends with your arrival in Fes, where you'll check into a riad in the old city.

- Day 3
Fes
This morning you'll join a guided walking tour through Fes's old city with a local guide who knows the area well. You enter through Bab Bou Jloud, the famous blue gate, and then visit the Quaraouine Mosque, one of the world's oldest universities. You'll see the Madrasa Bou Inania theological college, walk through the historic Medina Souks marketplace, and check out the Tanneries where leather is processed using traditional methods that have been around for centuries. Your guide can help you find other things you want to see before heading back to your riad by evening.

- Day 4
Fes to Merzouga
You'll leave early from your riad for a long drive to Merzouga in the Sahara. The route passes through Ifrane in the Middle Atlas, known for its resemblance to Switzerland, and the cedar forest at Azrou where you can see Barbary apes. After lunch in Midelt, you continue through the Atlas Mountains and Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud and then the Erg Chebbi dunes. Once you arrive, rest for a bit and then take a camel ride to your desert camp where there's traditional music and a fire show.

- Day 5
Merzouga to Dades
Wake up early and walk to one of the tallest nearby dunes to watch the sunrise, then go back to camp for breakfast and a shower. You'll leave the desert and stop in Rissani, an old trading post with busy souks and local markets. Next you drive to Tinghir and explore the Todgha Gorges, a 300-meter limestone canyon with water running from the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The final stretch takes you through the Valley of Kasbahs to Dades, where you'll settle into accommodation in the Dades Gorges with views of green fields.

- Day 6
Dades to Marrakech
After breakfast you head toward Marrakech through the Imgourn Valley and Skoura Oases, stopping to see the 17th-century Amridil Kasbah along the way. You'll continue to Ouarzazate, called the Cinema capital of Morocco, and visit the Touaririrt Kasbah. Then comes Ait-Benhaddou, a UNESCO-protected red mudbrick village from the 11th century that's been used as a filming location for major productions. The final drive takes you over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N'tichka pass at 2260m before you reach Marrakech and check into your accommodation in the old city.
