Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bardia National Park
You'll fly into Nepalgunj and then transfer by private vehicle to Bardia National Park. Once you've settled in at your lodge, take a village trip to get a feel for local culture and traditions. Later, head out to watch the sunset over the Karnali River from a good vantage point.

Landmarks Bardia National Park Karnali River - Day 2
Jungle Safari and Tiger Tracking
After breakfast, you'll head into the jungle on foot with a professional tracker to search for tiger signs like tracks and pugmarks. The morning involves carefully moving through different areas and waiting quietly in safe spots for potential sightings of Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, blackbucks, and other wildlife. Return to the resort by evening and have dinner around a bonfire.

Tiger Tracking at Balcony
Continue tiger tracking this time by open-air jeep, moving to another promising location within the park. You'll travel to Balcony watchtower where the elevated position gives you better views over open meadows, making it easier to spot wildlife approaching the river or moving through the grassland.

Landmarks Bardia National Park - Day 4
River Safari and Evening Jungle Safari
Following breakfast, take a river safari down the Karnali River in hand-built canoes, watching for birds, freshwater dolphins, gharial crocodiles, and other riverside animals. Return to the lodge by midday for lunch and a rest period. In the evening, join a jeep safari with a local naturalist who knows the park well, searching for tigers, rhinos, monkeys, and various birds since dusk is when tigers are most active while hunting.
