Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Ndutu
Your safari starts with an 8AM pickup from your Arusha hotel. You'll drive about 5.5 hours covering 260 km through changing landscapes, moving from hilly forests into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and then into expanding grasslands as you head toward Ndutu. A half-day game drive happens after you arrive, with a picnic lunch break where you can spot wildebeests, zebras, antelope, and gazelle across the grasslands.

Ndutu
You'll have the whole day to explore the Ndutu region with flexibility built in. Either take a relaxed breakfast and then leave at 9AM for a full day of game drives (back by 6PM), or start with an early 6AM drive, return for breakfast and a rest, then head out again in the afternoon. Both options include packed lunches. You'll follow the migration, and if you're visiting December through April, you'll see the calving season turn the fertile plains into nurseries with predators drawn to vulnerable young wildebeest.

Ndutu to Serengeti
After breakfast you'll drive into Serengeti National Park. The route takes you through endless plains that stretch to the horizon, and the scale of it really hits you once you're there. The park covers 14,763 square kilometers, and you'll have chances to spot the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard) and other wildlife across the grasslands throughout the day.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park - Day 4
Serengeti (Central)
Another full day in Serengeti with your choice of schedule. You can either relax with a 9AM departure for full day game drives (returning around 6PM), or go early at 6AM with breakfast back at camp before an afternoon game drive. You'll explore the central Seronera area, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River brings lots of animals to the area, and you'll find particularly strong lion and leopard populations here.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park Seronera River - Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Start with a morning game drive in Serengeti, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch along the way. You'll arrive at Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest collapsed volcanic crater at 14 kilometers across and a natural sanctuary all its own. The crater floor holds around 30,000 animals in an isolated ecosystem. After some time exploring, you'll head to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
An early start at 6:30AM with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. You'll see African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions throughout the morning. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo pool, you'll make the steep climb back up to the crater rim. From there you'll drive 4 hours back to Arusha, arriving by 6PM and ending your safari.
