Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo International Airport where a private driver meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After checking in and settling in, head out in the evening for a dinner cruise on the Nile. The boat features live music and traditional dance performances, so you'll have great views of Cairo's nighttime skyline while you eat. It's a nice way to ease into your trip.

Cairo
This morning you'll head to the Pyramids of Giza and see the Sphinx up close. From there, drive to Memphis, the ancient capital, and then stop at the Step Pyramid in Saqqara. You'll spend the afternoon exploring these sites before heading back to Cairo for the evening.

Alexandria
Travel to Alexandria by private vehicle, which takes a few hours from Cairo. Once there, you'll check out the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and the Qaitbay Citadel. After that, spend time at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Later in the evening, the driver takes you back to Cairo.

Cairo
Start your day at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where the Royal Mummies are displayed. Then move on to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. After lunch, walk around the historic streets of Coptic Cairo to see churches and old neighborhoods. You'll get a real sense of Cairo's different layers of history in one day.

Wadi El Rayan Desert
Head out to Wadi El Rayan to see the waterfalls in the desert setting. You'll have time to take photos with the Mudawara Mountains behind you. In the afternoon, try sand boarding on the soft dunes, and you'll also do a dune drive through the desert landscape. It's a different pace from Cairo's busier areas.

You have free time this morning or afternoon depending on when your flight leaves. A private transfer takes you to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
