Itinerary
- Day 1
Corfu to Sarande
You'll meet your tour group at the port and take the ferry from Corfu over to Albania. Once you arrive, your tour leader will pick you up and head straight to Butrint National Park, where you can walk through important archaeological ruins that are protected as a UNESCO site. From there, it's on to Sarande, sitting along the Albanian Riviera with a beautiful bay. Before wrapping up the day, you'll stop at the Blue Eye natural spring to see the crystal-clear water, then drive inland to Gjirokaster for the night.

- Day 2
Gjirokaster to Berat
This morning you'll explore Gjirokaster, called the Stone City because of its UNESCO-listed old town with narrow stone streets everywhere. The medieval bazaar is worth a walk through, where local artisans sell handmade crafts and goods. You'll tour one of the well-preserved traditional houses to see how people actually lived, with original furnishings still in place. After spending time there, you'll drive to Berat for your overnight stay.

Berat to Tirana
You'll head into Berat, known locally as the town of 1001 windows, another UNESCO World Heritage site with medieval old houses covering the hillside. Walking through the narrow stone streets, you can visit the castle where people still live today. There are ancient churches and mosques to see, plus the old stone bridge crossing through town. You'll learn about the painter Onufri and his distinctive church art before checking out the Gorica neighbourhood. Later in the day, you'll drive to Tirana to finish your journey.
