    Kathmandu

    You'll land at Kathmandu airport where a representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. Check in, settle in, and rest up before the trek begins.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Lukla to Everest Base Camp Region

    An early morning flight from Kathmandu gets you to Lukla, and then you start trekking toward Everest Base Camp. The route is moderate, and you'll see Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks throughout the day.

    Sagarmatha National Park Trek

    This day takes you through Sagarmatha National Park with forests and high peaks. You'll pass small villages and tea houses, cross suspension bridges over rivers, and encounter different terrain as you move through the region.

    You spend this day in Namche Bazaar without trekking, giving your body time to acclimatize to the altitude. Rest and prepare for higher elevations ahead.

  5. Day 5

    Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

    After leaving Namche, you trek through rhododendron forests and past tall peaks toward Tengboche. This small village has a Buddhist monastery that offers great mountain views.

    Dingboche Rest Day

    Dingboche to Lobuche

    The trek takes you through glacial valleys and past tall peaks toward Lobuche. This small village sits in dramatic mountain country with intense views of the Himalayan landscape around you.

  9. Day 9

    Lobuche to Everest Base Camp

    You trek through rocky terrain with views of the landscape, then reach Gorak Shep for a short rest and acclimatization. After that, you hike to Everest Base Camp and explore the area. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and Cho Oyu surround the camp. Later, a scenic helicopter flight takes you back to Lukla.

    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Himalayan Trekking & Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Himalayan Trekking & Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
