Arrival in Antananarivo
You'll land at Ivato International Airport where staff meet you and handle the customs process. They'll help with currency exchange and get you oriented before your Madagascar trip begins.

Antananarivo to Palmarium Reserve
After breakfast, you're looking at a seven-hour drive to Palmarium Reserve with photo stops and breaks built in. From Manambato you'll take a boat to reach the reserve, arriving by evening. Once you check in, there's a guided night walk before dinner.

Landmarks Palmarium Reserve - Day 3
Palmarium Reserve
Morning brings a guided day walk on this small island where you'll see ten lemur species, from Indri to the rare Aye-Aye. The reserve has endemic Madagascar palms found nowhere else, so the plant life is pretty distinctive too.

Palmarium Reserve to Andasibe
After breakfast you'll travel to Andasibe and check into your hotel. Later, a guided night walk through the Village Reserve gets you out for about 90 minutes before you head back for the evening.

Andasibe Mantadia National Park
Early morning start for a full day exploring Andasibe Mantadia National Park. The primary forest spans two protected areas with lemurs, birds, chameleons, and insects throughout. You'll trek through the landscapes and stop at a natural swimming pool.

Andasibe to Antananarivo
You're leaving at 7:30 AM to reach Analamazaotra National Park, where your odds of seeing Indri lemurs and Diademed Sifaka are best. The guided visit runs about four hours, then you'll head back to Antananarivo and settle in at your hotel after lunch.

Antananarivo to Kirindy National Park
A domestic flight takes you to Morondava, then straight to Kirindy National Park for a night walk. The park has rare species like the giant jumping rat and fossa, plus nocturnal lemurs and other wildlife found only here.

Kirindy National Park to Morondava
After a guided day walk through Kirindy forest, you'll transfer to Morondava with two main stops for the baobabs. You'll see Baobab Lamoureux and the famous Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset before reaching your beach accommodation.

Morondava to Antsirabe
This is a long driving day, so starting at 7:00 AM makes sense. After breakfast you'll head to Antsirabe with stops for photos and breaks. Lunch happens in Miandrivazo, then you'll arrive in Antsirabe by late afternoon to relax.

Antsirabe to Ranomafana
You'll travel through green landscapes toward Ranomafana National Park, arriving late in the evening. A guided night walk through the forest introduces you to lemurs, birds, butterflies, and unique plants that grow only here.

Ranomafana National Park

Ranomafana to Isalo National Park
After breakfast you're traveling south along RN7 to reach Ranohira and Isalo National Park. You'll stop at Anja Reserve to see endemic orchids and wild ring-tailed lemurs, arriving at Isalo by evening.

Landmarks Anja Reserve Isalo National Park - Day 13
Isalo National Park
A guided visit through Isalo National Park culminates at the famous Isalo Window for sunset. The park has incredible biodiversity with birds, reptiles, frogs, mammals, and over 400 plant species, many found nowhere else.

Isalo to Antananarivo
Early morning departure from Isalo toward Tulear with a stop at Zombitse National Park, known for endemic bird species. After that visit you'll fly back to Antananarivo, then spend 45 minutes at the Queen's Palace hilltop before shopping at the La Digue craft market.
