Yerevan
You'll land in Yerevan and get driven to your hotel to check in. Take some time to settle into your room and get your bearings before the week starts.

Yerevan - Echmiadzin - Zvartnots
Once you've had breakfast, a guide takes you through some of Armenia's most significant religious buildings. The day covers the ancient Ejmiatsin Mother Cathedral, followed by St. Hripsime and St. Gayane churches, then you'll see the architectural design of Zvartnots Temple. You'll head back to Yerevan by evening.

Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
After breakfast, you'll travel to visit major Armenian heritage locations. Start at the Arch of Charents for views over the landscape, then check out the ancient Garni Temple and its basalt canyon. Later you'll reach Geghard Monastery, a medieval site. The afternoon includes a lavash baking class where you'll learn how to make traditional Armenian flatbread and try local cheese.

Yerevan - Lake Sevan - Dilijan - Yerevan
You'll set out after breakfast for a full day through mountainous terrain. Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery come first, then there's a quick stop in Dilijan, a health resort town. From there you'll visit Goshavank and Haghartsin, two medieval monasteries surrounded by woodland, before returning to Yerevan.
