You'll arrive at Cairo International Airport and get picked up for transfer to your host family's home. After settling in, dinner with your Egyptian family kicks off your stay.

Cairo
Start with a traditional Egyptian breakfast at your host family's table, then head to the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx to walk through ancient Egypt's history. The afternoon takes you through Old Cairo's religious sites, visiting Coptic churches, a synagogue, and a historic mosque. Grab lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to your host family.

After breakfast with your family, you'll wander through Khan Khalili Bazar, the Middle East's oldest bazaar, then stroll El-Moaz Street to see historic Cairo with its mosques, traditional cafes, and food stalls showcasing Islamic art. Try Koshary for lunch before returning to your host family.

Following breakfast, you'll travel to Alexandria for a full day visiting the Roman Theater, Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, Alexandria Library, and El Mursi Abu Elabas. Lunch at a seafood restaurant comes before the drive back to Cairo and your host family.

Your host family teaches you to cook mousaka, Fata, Koshary, hawawshi, and Molokhiya soup, then you'll eat what you prepared for lunch. Later, Cairo Tower gives you panoramic views of the city's ancient and modern mix before dinner back with your family.

Breakfast happens at Groppi, a well-known old cafe in Downtown Cairo, then you'll explore downtown streets on your own. Next comes a relaxing felucca ride on a traditional wooden sailing boat with colorful cushions, taking in Nile River views and Cairo's skyline. Lunch downtown, then back to your family for dinner.
