- Bruno· July 31st, 2025Hotels well located from train stations and activities. They are 4 stars but organisers need to ensure rooms provided are not of two star quality and twin rooms need to be large enough to place suitcases and access bathrooms.Show more
- Chia· July 16th, 2025We loved the itinerary and the people who helped with transfers. They were all very helpful. The hotels were nice, but we had several rooms with horrible views and one was shoved in a corner next to all the housekeeping rooms.Show more

Asked on August 27th, 2024I'm looking for a tour from Rome for about 4-6 days with Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento, etc. in early/ mid April 2025, but the dates on a couple of the tours I've checked with Destination Italia skip from Oct 2024 to May 2025. Are there tours in this region in April 2025?

Traveler•Written August 2024Can you check dates April 12th or 13th through 16th, 2025? Those are my dates in Rome before cruise leaves from Rome afternoon of the 16th. I'm interested in 4-6 day tour of Rome to Sorrento, Amalfi, and back to Rome if possible.

Traveler•Written October 2024It might have to start on April 12th to be back on the 15th instead, because it looks like the return isn't until 7:45 pm on the 16th and the boarding time is 4 pm on the 16th. However, I can't afford the extra $1,000 usd quoted. 1447 euros per person (one adult, one child) is much higher than what the tour normally costs in tour radar. It's closer to $1000 usd per person, not $1588 per person (almost $1200 increase). Why can't I pay for the fees listed on the site for the other months? Ordinarily, I'd like to book it starting April 12th, 2025.
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written October 2024
The operativity of this tour, Sorrento Dream, starts on 1st of May and it is a shared semi escorted Tour. Shared means that all the costs during the tour are absorbed by all the participants, not only you. But since you are requesting an out of season Date (April is out of season), it's needed to book everything in a private way and not shared. The rate increase is due to this.

Traveler•Written October 2024Oh, I see. It might work for us, but I was wondering about the cost of any of the other Destination Italia tours from Rome to the Amalfi coast area, since there are several that last 4 or 5 days. Those tours also don't have dates listed in April 2025. Do any of these, such as Napoli Escape & Sorrento, Napoli Express & Sorrento, Charming Costiere, or Splendid tour, cost less than 1,500 per person (one adult, one child) for dates from April 10,11, or 12 through the 15th (or the 16th if return is in the morning). Thanks so much for your kind assistance!
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written October 2024
All of our Amalfi Coast tours start in May as you can see from Tourradar's availability so if you wish to leave in April it would cost more for the same reason we explained in the last message. To remain in your budget you should have flexible dates and check for may.

Traveler•Written October 2024Is the most cost effective for the April date still Sorrento Dream, over the other tours? (I know they would all have to be opened early since they normally don't start until May, I'm just considering which one to go with.)
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written October 2024
Yes the sorrento dream is the least expensive, while the most complete tour for the amalfi coast is the charming costiera tour.

Daniela
Traveler•Written October 2024Ok, we'd like to book the Sorrento Dream, then, for April 12th-15th? We're return tourists with Destination Italia. Thank you for opening up the tour so we could add it to our trip! I have to work today so probably won't be able to return to make actual booking through tour radar until much later today or tomorrow.

Asked on May 19th, 2023Was curious if the train ticket is included in the fare? And the name of the hotels!
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written May 2023
the train ticket is included in the cost of the package. The hotel could be Grand Hotel Vesuvio or similar but the final confirmation will be 5 days before departure.

Asked on May 9th, 2023- Added the optional tour of Amalfi Coast on Day 3? - Removed the last train transfer from Naples to Rome? 1. Is it an additional coast to the entrance of the blue grotto? 2. How many opportunities do we have to swim? 3. Finally, what is the schedule of the optional Amalfi coast tour? Do you arrange a transfer and give us free time to explore or is it a specific tour?
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written May 2023
- Added the optional tour of Amalfi Coast on Day 3? Yes, it's possible. This tour is a shared small group tour. Net price 90 € per person - Removed the last train transfer from Naples to Rome? Yes, it's possible. In this case you can have a reduction of 30 € per person. 1. The blue grotto have an additional cost, can be paid only on the spot (weather permitting). 2. During the full day Capri, on 2nd day, you will have the possibility to swim. 3. Amalfi coast tour operates on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Small group up to 21 pax, 8 hours full day, includes pickup, expert English-speaking guide, drive along UNESCO World Heritage coastal road, free time in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

Traveler•Written May 2023How much is the entrance to the blue grotto? And how long is it usually?
- Destination ItaliaOperator•Written May 2023
Last year the cost was 14€-18€ per person, but the price is subject to changes. The line is often very long and travelers give up on this experience. It's all to be decided on the spot the day the Capri full day experience will take place.
