The places we visited, the attractions we saw, and above all the information and stories provided by our tour guide Biancha gave us a glimpse of life in Romania past and present. We were truly blessed to have Biancha as our guide. Seeing this region with her was like traveling with a friend who was showing us her home. The accommodations were wonderful, especially the B&B‘s / pensions where we enjoyed some delicious home made food. Meeting and talking to the hosts was an extra bonus. If you have the time and the interest, it’s worth investing in this 4 day tour to get beyond the day trippers who only do Peles, Bran and Brasov - there is a lot more out there. Bogdan was a great guide, who shared a lot of interesting information about each of the sites, as well as timing visits to avoid coach tours / get best light for photos. Hotels in Brasov and Sighisoara were good and well located, and the guesthouse in the village of Sibiel on the last night was wonderful.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
