Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport and go through customs. Your driver will have a name sign waiting for you, then drive you to Moshi where you'll spend your first night.

Moshi to Amani Nature Reserve
Leave Moshi in the morning and head to Amani Nature Reserve in the East Usambara Mountains. You'll arrive with time for lunch, then hike through the dense virgin rainforest to see the area's incredible plant and animal life.

Amani Nature Reserve
After breakfast, you'll continue hiking through the Amani tropical rainforest on marked routes, keeping an eye out for exotic birds, butterflies, and blue monkeys. Later you'll visit the Amani Botanical Gardens, which has been around since 1902, and walk through nearby tea farms.

Amani to Pangani Coast
Following breakfast, head to the hot caves of Amboni near Tanga on the Indian Ocean coast with a guide. You'll learn about the stalactite and stalagmite formations there. After lunch in Tanga, drive down the historic Pangani Coast to your beach resort.

Pangani
Spend the day checking out Pangani, the coastal town at the mouth of the Pangani River where Arabic, German, British, and modern influences mix together. You can take an optional river cruise through coconut plantations, visit clean beaches, historic sites, and coral reefs. Evening brings you back to your beach resort where all meals are included.

Pangani Departure
