- Day 1
New York City
You'll arrive in New York City and meet your group along with the tour leader for an informal welcome gathering at the hotel later in the evening. After that, you're free to wander the streets of NYC on your own or head back to rest up before the adventure kicks off.
- Day 2
New York City to Washington, D.C.
Leaving New York, you'll head to Philadelphia and spend the morning walking through the historic district. You'll see the Liberty Bell and check out Independence National Historic Park. Then you continue south to Washington, D.C., the nation's capital.

Washington, D.C.
With an expert guide, you'll go through Washington, D.C. and learn about iconic sites like the U.S. Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House, and Arlington National Cemetery. By afternoon, you get personal leisure time to visit museums like the Smithsonian or walk along the Potomac River.

Washington, D.C. to Niagara Falls, Canada
You'll travel north to Gettysburg National Military Park to learn about the largest Civil War battle and Abraham Lincoln's 1863 address. From there, you head through upstate New York to Buffalo, then cross the border into Canada to see Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls to Detroit, USA
Starting early, you'll view Niagara Falls scenery and walk along Table Rock to watch the Horseshoe Falls with your tour leader. Later in the afternoon, you'll head back to the United States and continue to a Detroit suburb known as Motor City USA.

Detroit to Chicago
You'll find out why Detroit earned the Motor City name by visiting the Ford River Rouge Factory and Henry Ford Museum. You'll explore the exhibits and watch modern vehicles being made on the factory floor. After that, you drive south toward Lake Michigan and arrive in Chicago for the night.

Chicago
The day starts with a short tour of Chicago's main features including Lake Shore Drive, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. From there, you have the rest of the day free to explore the Windy City however you like, whether checking out the bold downtown architecture or viewing artworks in well-known museums.

Chicago to Sioux Falls
You'll travel through Midwest farmlands filled with corn, wheat, and dairy farms. Then you cross the Mississippi River and head into Iowa, arriving along the Missouri River just as Lewis and Clark did two centuries ago. You'll finish the day in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls to Rapid City
Moving westward through South Dakota's wide grasslands, you'll reach Badlands National Park with its colorful rock formations that once sheltered buffalo and antelope. Later you'll head to the Black Hills, sacred to Native Americans, and see Mount Rushmore. The day ends in Rapid City.

Rapid City to Cody/Billings-Livingston
You'll head toward Wyoming, a place with twelve mountain ranges mixed with vast deserts and rolling grasslands. You'll rest tonight in Cody to prepare for the next day, though if weather or road conditions in Yellowstone cause issues, you might stay in Billings or Livingston, Montana instead.
- Day 11
Cody to Yellowstone National Park
You'll drive past Wyoming's mountains to reach Yellowstone, the nation's first National Park. With your expert guide, you'll tour this geothermal wonderland and see waterfalls, geysers, canyons, colorful wildlife, Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, Yellowstone Canyon's waterfalls, and beautiful Hayden Valley.

Yellowstone to Salt Lake City
Moving through Grand Teton National Park, you'll see magnificent mountain peaks over 4,000 meters and local wildlife. You'll visit the Snake River Outlook to capture landscapes. Then you head to Salt Lake City to tour landmarks including the State Capital Building, Temple Square, and the Tabernacle before settling in for the evening.

You'll travel to Bryce Canyon and walk through the multi-colored world of sandstone spires and pinnacles called hoodoos with your guide. When weather permits, later on you'll look up at the night sky full of stars and constellations.

Bryce Canyon to Flagstaff
Leaving Bryce Canyon, you'll head to Lake Powell where red-rock canyon walls tower over blue waters. After that, you continue to Grand Canyon National Park, one of the seven great natural wonders. You'll stop at the rim to see the mile-deep canyon, gorges, spires, extinct volcanoes, and the Colorado River. Later you follow Historic Route 66 and arrive in Flagstaff for the night.

Flagstaff to Las Vegas
You'll head out for Las Vegas early and pass through Seligman, an authentic town on Route 66 that looks frozen in time from sixty years ago. After arriving, you have the rest of the day free to explore the Las Vegas Strip however you choose.

Las Vegas to Los Angeles
You'll ride toward the western coast and see views of the Mojave Desert with characteristic Joshua trees against the mountainous backdrop. You'll arrive in Los Angeles and join your guide for a tour through Hollywood, Sunset Strip, and parts of Beverly Hills before reaching your hotel.

Los Angeles to Santa Maria
You'll leave Los Angeles in the morning and travel north through Santa Barbara, one of California's favorite vacation spots. You'll see palm-lined streets and vast white sandy beaches. You'll stop at an iconic California lifeguard tower made famous by the Baywatch TV series. Then you continue to Santa Maria along the Central Coast for the night.

Santa Maria to San Francisco
Heading north to Carmel, you'll walk through its fairytale cottages and galleries, the home of actor and director Clint Eastwood. You'll browse shops and galleries of the acclaimed artists' colony. From there you travel further north and stop at Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf, then walk along the Pier to Cannery Row, well-known from John Steinbeck's novel. You pass through lush valleys and arrive in San Francisco to explore famous sights at your leisure.
