Itinerary
- Day 1
San Francisco
You'll arrive in San Francisco and meet up with the group at the hotel around 4 pm. After that, head out over the Golden Gate Bridge to a scenic viewpoint where you can take in the views. Later, gather for dinner with a welcome drink and get the tour briefing so everyone knows what's coming up over the next week.

Mendocino
Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge this morning and head into California wine country on your way to Bodega Bay, which is where Hitchcock filmed 'The Birds'. From there, follow Highway 1 along the scenic coast, stopping at historic Fort Ross to walk around and check out the old structures. Continue north to Mendocino for the night.

Humboldt
Start early with a morning hike along the Pacific Ocean. After that, move through the Avenue of the Giants and then hike through Humboldt Redwoods State Park. You'll walk among 1000-year-old redwood trees during the afternoon, which gives you time to really take in these massive trees.

Redwood National Park - Oregon
Begin the day with a morning hike in a wetland area near Arcata. Then head into Redwood National Park where you might spot wapitis and other wildlife while hiking through the pristine forest. In the afternoon and into the evening, explore the rugged Oregon coast and see what the shoreline has to offer.

Ashland
This morning, take a hike on one of Oregon's most beautiful beaches in Bandon. Visit the Cape Arago area to see the gardens and check out the coastline from different angles. Later, head inland to Ashland, a charming university town that's home to the Shakespeare Theater.

Ashland
Drive up Mount Ashland this morning and hike along the Pacific Crest Trail with views of Mount Shasta volcano in the distance. In the afternoon, stroll through Ashland's downtown area and stop by one of the local wineries to taste what the region produces.

Crater Lake - Bend
Visit Klamath Falls to explore a museum of indigenous art and Fort Klamath, an important historical site from the region's Native American conflicts. Then head to Crater Lake National Park, which is the real highlight of the day. You'll see America's deepest and bluest lake surrounded by the volcanic landscape.

Bend
Hike over a volcanic glass hill and along Paulina Lake, and you'll have a picnic lunch during the hike. Spend the afternoon at the High Desert Museum learning about the area. Later, walk through historic downtown Bend, which has several excellent restaurants for dinner.

Yachats
Check out Smith Rock State Park in the morning, a place known for climbing. Cross through the volcanic Cascade Mountains and stop for a picnic at turquoise Clear Lake. You'll also hike along waterfalls during the afternoon before descending through the green McKenzie Valley toward the Pacific coast.

Portland
Take an excursion along the historic Columbia River Highway with views of the river. Stop at Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam to see these impressive structures. In the afternoon, hike at a mountain lake at the foot of Mount Hood, a 3,400-meter snow-covered volcano.

Olympic Peninsula
Visit Mount St. Helens to see the landscape that still shows the marks from the 1980 volcanic eruption. Explore the visitor center, drive to several viewpoints, and take a short hike along the volcano. Then continue to the Olympic Peninsula for the next part of the journey.

Olympic National Park
Explore Olympic National Park's temperate rainforest, which is covered with incredible mosses and lichens, and contrasts with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Take short hikes through the park during the day. Later, relax at Sol Duc Hot Springs and soak in the warm water.

Seattle
Drive up to Hurricane Ridge for mountain views of the Olympic Mountains if weather permits, and take a short hike at the top. Visit a Native American village to see the totem poles and learn about the culture. Later, take a ferry ride to Seattle and get a short city tour before the day ends.
