Itinerary
- Day 1
Düsseldorf to Palma
You'll fly from Düsseldorf to Palma and head to your hotel. After settling in, check out Palma's cathedral and the Art Nouveau architecture if your arrival time allows. Wander through some of the charming alleyways in the old town, then grab dinner at a local restaurant before calling it a night.

Sant Elm
Head out to Port d'Andratx for a 3-hour hike to Sant Elm on the coast. You'll see the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and Sa Dragonera island offshore along the way. Once you reach Sant Elm, spend your afternoon at beachside cafés or relaxing on the beach, then make your way back to the hotel.

Sa Gramola to Sant Elm
Start this hike with great west coast views from Sa Gramola mountain pass, then head through Cap Fabioler toward the ruins of Sa Trapa monastery. The trail continues through pine trees and farmland before bringing you back to Sant Elm. You'll have time to relax by the sea before the drive back to Port d'Andratx and your hotel.

Banyalbufar to Esporles to Valldemossa
Walk part of the GR221 long-distance trail starting in Banyalbufar through typical Tramuntana villages. You'll pass olive groves and terraces, then follow an old postal route through holm oak forests to Esporles. Later, take a bus to Valldemossa to see the Charterhouse where Chopin and George Sand stayed during winter 1838-39. You'll stay overnight in Alaro.

Orient - Alaró Castle
Begin at Alaro's Plaza and hike along an old village path to Orient. After lunch there, climb up to Alaro castle and enjoy panoramic views across the island including Puig Major (1445m), the highest peak on Mallorca. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Sa Calobra - Santuari de Lluc
Take a bus to Sóller for a quick look around, then drive to a viewpoint. Hike the classic route toward Sa Calobra through Balitx valley with ancient olive groves and along clifftop paths to Cala Tuent's pebble beach for a swim. Later, drive along the scenic coastal road to Santuari de Lluc monastery where you'll sleep.

Puig de Massanella
Climb Puig de Massanella (1365m), the highest accessible mountain on Mallorca, through holm oak forests and across an alpine plateau. Clear views stretch to Menorca and Ibiza on the horizon. You'll return to the monastery complex for another night.

GR221 Trail to Pollença
Hike another section of GR221 past Puig Tomir massif (1103m) and through the March valley to Pollenca. Spend time exploring the old town's Roman history on a sightseeing tour and try a Mediterranean bar experience. Later transfer to your beachfront hotel in Port de Pollenca.

You'll have the day at Port de Pollenca beach for swimming and relaxing. If you want to do more, you can head out to Cap de Formentor or visit the historic old town of Alcudia.
