Itinerary
- Day 1
Porto
You'll arrive in Porto and take a boat transfer to the ship (note there's an extra charge for this). Check-in starts at 16:00, and you'll get a welcome cocktail once you're settled. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander around Porto on your own. There's plenty to see if you want to explore the city's history, local culture, and food scene.

Porto to Pinhao
Early morning, the ship departs Porto and heads toward Pinhao, sailing through the Douro Valley. You'll arrive in the afternoon at Pinhao, which sits right in the heart of the Douro wine region. Before dinner, there's time to check out the historic railway station with its decorative azulejo tiles from the late 19th century. You'll have dinner on board and stay the night.

- Day 3
Pocinho to Vega de Terrón
The morning brings a stop in Pocinho, a small village that marks the beginning of the Douro Line train route running along the river. Later, you'll head to Vega de Terrón pier where the Águeda river flows into the Douro. This spot is in La Fregeneda, Salamanca, within the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero and was historically a crossing point between countries. An optional excursion to Castelo Rodrigo is available. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

Barca d'Alva
Today is a full day on board with a visit to Barca d'Alva, an old railway junction village in the Natural Park of the International Douro. The location features dramatic gorges along the Douro and Águeda rivers that form a natural boundary between Spain and Portugal. You'll have the option to take excursions to San Felices de los Gallegos or Ciudad Rodrigo, both in Spain. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.

Pinhao to Régua
Spend the full day on board as the ship navigates through the Douro Valley with scenic landscapes. Around noon, there's a stop in Pinhao to visit some of the region's best wineries. By afternoon, you'll arrive in Régua, home to the world's first demarcated wine region created back in 1756. Check out viewpoints like San Leonardo in Galafura and San António do Loureiro with their terraced vineyards. Optional excursions go to Lamego and São João Tarouca. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

Régua to Porto
The ship departs Régua early and sails back toward Porto, traveling through the scenic Douro Valley landscape. You'll dock in Porto just after lunch, and the afternoon is free to explore. Walk through the city's interesting architecture, the cobbled streets of the Ribeira neighborhood, or check out the Dom Luís I Bridge. You could stroll along the river or visit local vineyards. There's also an optional excursion to Braga and Bom Jesus if you want to venture further.

Porto
You're spending the full day on board at Douro Marina, which functions as the main hub for tourism on the Douro in northern Portugal. The place focuses on sports, leisure, wellness, and environmental care. Nearby restaurants and terraces have views of the Douro River. From the ship, you can explore Porto's hillside streets, historic buildings, and the Ribeira neighborhood with its views of boats passing under the Dom Luís I Bridge (an iron structure designed by a collaborator of Gustave Eiffel). A panoramic Porto tour is available as an option. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

Porto Departure
