Show moreTrip date: September 2025- NBNadia· August 7th, 2025The communication through whatsapp was great. It kept me up to date in real time. As stated regarding collection times were 100% spot on. The tour was so well organized from hotel room to dinners and the sites. It was the same tour guide and bus driver for the whole 4 days. We had other groups join ours. It was a large coach. Comfortable and air conditioned. The tour guide Antony was a walking encyclopedia. He knew his history and kept us all intrigued and well informed. We saw Olympia, Delphi and Meteora. Other smaller stops along the way. Some parts of the tour were 4 hour road trips but we did stop every two hours for a break. We were taken to local restaurants for lunches with lovely Greek food to purchase. All sites were included in the tour price. Trip date: July 2024 - Heather· September 28th, 2024This tour itself went to some fabulous places which we enjoyed. However we were really disappointed with tour itself. First day of tour we had no idea what was happening as were put in a hotel without other tour members and put in a public tour. Second day took awhile until we worked out who was on tour as people were getting off and on bus at multiple stops. The rest of the tour it was broken up by some people at one hotel and others at another hotel. People left and joined tour each day do you didn’t get to know your fellow travelers. The guide seemed very disinterested in us and we felt like more of a bother than guided. There was a passenger on the bus (the only one who didn’t speak English so difficult for him) who was sick coughing and sneezing over everyone in bus and buffet breakfast. He was not asked to wear mask and many of us ended up unwell. I personally lost 5 days of my holiday sick in the hotel because of this. There also seemed to be three companies involved in the whole trip. She made sure everything was taken care of so we could enjoy Greece The itinerary was fast paced, but it was exactly what we wanted to see in the short time we had The beginning of the tour with a small group and van was fantastic, really got to know fellow travelers and didn't have to navigate a huge group of people at each hotel/site Many hotels did not have a large number of people at them (definitely upgrade to higher stars for the tour) Short stops and special experiences along the bus route were well done Most lunch stops were good and provided local flavors, Delphi was especially good (Omphalos salad!) The not so great: We would have liked more time at Olympia and Epidauros to explore the ruins Staying at the same hotel chain every stop provided pretty much the same menu each time Our tour guide for ONLY the Temple of Poseidon was not super helpful/friendly, and actually left 2 people behind who we had to pick up along the road from another bus Combining into a larger group after day 3 was not well planned. The hotels are selected based on hotel category, 3-star Standard & 4-star Superior type in each area as per program. Yes you can select the type of category you wish to book between Standard & Superior hotel. The cost for Pre/Post Night in euro for the accommodation in Athens is as follows: Pre/Post night - DOUBLE ROOM STANDARD HOTEL CATEGORY - price per Unit in Euro: 160 per night.
