Itinerary
- Day 1
Prizren to Skopje
You'll start in Prizren exploring the city's historic sites. The sixth-century Kalaja Fortress gives you views out over the town, and it's worth spending time there to take in the landscape. From there, check out the House of the Albanian League of Prizren and wander through the old bazaar where you'll see traditional architecture throughout. Later you'll head to Skopje for check-in, leaving the evening free to settle in or explore on your own.

- Day 2
Ohrid
You'll travel south to Ohrid and spend time in the historic Old Town. Tsar Samuel's Fortress offers views over the city that are worth the walk up. The Ancient Theatre dates back to 200 BC and gives a real sense of the area's past. The Church of St. Sophia has beautiful frescoes inside. If you're visiting in summer, you can swim in Lake Ohrid. After checking in, you'll have free time to explore more or relax.

- Day 3
Berat
You'll head to Berat, which is one of Albania's most interesting cities. Start at Berat Castle, then visit a traditional local house where you'll taste Turkish coffee and Gliko (a local sweet). Explore the historic town below the castle with its houses, bars, and restaurants. Walk to the new bridge for views of the area, and you'll have free time after that to wander around and see what else you find.

- Day 4
Apollonia to Tirana
You'll visit the archaeological site of Apollonia, which was founded in the sixth century BC. The Monastery and Church of St. Mary are on site, and there's an Archaeological Museum to check out. From there, you'll head to Divjaka-Karavasta National Park where you can walk through the forest with its Mediterranean pines. Visit the visitor center and climb the lagoon tower for views. Then you'll return to Tirana for your hotel drop-off.
