  1. Day 1

    Airport Arrival

    Your guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in Jakarta. The transfer gives you time to settle in and get oriented to the city.

  2. Day 2

    Jakarta

    Start the morning at Fatahillah Museum, which covers Jakarta's colonial history through its collections. After that, head to Sunda Kelapa harbor to see the traditional wooden sailing ships and working waterfront. Later, make your way to Monas (National Monument) to check out the views from the top before returning to your hotel.

Then head out to Bandung and spend time at Saung Angklung Udjo learning about traditional bamboo instruments and local handicrafts.

    After breakfast, drive north to Tangkuban Perahu volcano, about 30 km from Bandung. Hike around the crater or ride up to see the hot springs and steam vents. Later, move to Ciater Hot Spring where you can relax in the warm mineral pools surrounded by volcanic landscape.

    Wonosobo to Dieng Plateau to Borobudur

    After breakfast, travel 116 km to reach the Dieng Plateau at 2,093 meters elevation. Explore the Arjuna Temple Complex, one of Java's oldest temples, then visit Crater Sikidang, Telaga Warna, and Telaga Pengilon to see the sulfurous lakes and learn about local geology. Have lunch and then continue to the Borobudur area for the night.

    Mount Bromo to Kalibaru

    Start at 3:00 AM and ride in a jeep up to Pananjakan viewpoint to catch the sunrise over the volcano. After sunrise, descend into the sand sea on horseback and ride around Mount Bromo itself. Return to your hotel to rest, then continue on to Kalibaru later in the day.
