Customer Reviews
- David· July 21st, 2025An incredible trekking experience in the Hunza region! I was originally due to take the Patundas trek, but due to flight cancellations Exploria and I agreed to switch to a 2-day Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek, and a 1-day hike in the mountains above Karimabad. I had no regrets - the views and treks were just incredible!!! A huge thanks to Ajmal, Majid and team - as I had some unexpected changes of plan (out of anyone's control) and they always helped to solve the issues swiftly and effectively. Ajmal was a very welcoming and sociable host, giving up time to make me feel welcome and helping to arrange SIM cards and visits to local shops. His English and knowledge of the area are outstanding. Asif was an excellent guide - calm, knowledge (and an excellent photographer!!) The quality of accommodation throughout was very pleasing (and varied, from wooden chalets, to yurts, and of course - tents on the trek!) Having Exploria organised everything for me took a lot of stress away - allowing me to enjoy and immerse myself fully in the experience. I will certainly be going home to tell everyone to come here (and with Exploria!) Thank you Exploria for everything!!Show more
- min· June 30th, 2025The region of Gilgit-Baltistan is beautiful with spectacular landscapes and rich culture. We enjoyed the hikes - to Rakaposhi base camp, Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat viewpoint, and shorter hikes around the Upper Hunza. Our guide, Fareed, also worked tirelessly to ensure that we were well taken care of during these 2 weeks. Ajmal was also very responsive before and during the trip, providing a detailed itinerary and tweaking it to suit our needs and making sure that all arrangements were in order.Show more
- Linpeng· June 2nd, 2025We encounter ALOT of uncontrollable problem since day one in pakistan from exchange currency to flight cancellation, but thankgod exploria was able to help out with all our problems with ease, not to mention they gave excellent advice which we're so grateful we follow through, otherwise we'll be missing our flight back home since the weather can be very unpredictable. We enjoy every second of our patundas trek and it is absolutely beautiful since the first day we stay in our hotel exploria picked for us. Patundas trek and hunza valley is unlike any other trek ive ever been. Absolutely stunning!!! Not too difficult, get to trek over glacier, gorgeous view, i mean, what more can you ask?Show more

What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on December 1st, 2022Can you give me an idea of the intensity and distance of the cycling? Also, any problems for Americans going for visas or anything else?
- ExploriaOperator•Written December 2022
This is a specially designed tour to explore the beautiful Karakoram range. The total distance is around 550 km and is easy for a cyclist. This could be challenging for travelers with special medical conditions as you will be cycling from an altitude of 1500m to 4694m. No problems for the US citizens. You will be needing a letter of invitation from our company to visit Pakistan which is an easy process.

Traveler•Written December 2022Thanks, Ajmal- one other question. Does the letter of invitation allow the participant to arrive in Pakistan without a visa, or to obtain one on arrival?
- ExploriaOperator•Written December 2022
A letter of invitation is a mandatory procedure to acquire a tourist visa to Pakistan. A letter of invitation is complimentary when the tour is booked with us.
