I booked a 2 weeks trip with Exploria.pk . What a fantastic trip ! And everything went smoothly. Spectacular scenery , beautiful hikes and short treks . I did the Rakaposhi basecamp and Nanga Parbat basecamp trek . Both short treks were amazing . The Karakoram Highway ride to the Khunjerab pass was also spectacular. The driver/guide Rachid was a nice easygoing guy . Despite having a negative travel advice , i didn't feel unsafe in the north of Pakistan . On the contrary , I felt safer than in other Asian countries and most Latin American countries I've visited . Also the people in North Pakistan are very friendly. If you are looking for adventure , spectacular roadtrip and scenery , high mountains , glaciars , beautiful hikes and treks : look no further . Go to Pakistan and consider Exploria.pk as your tour operator

Can you give me an idea of the intensity and distance of the cycling? Also, any problems for Americans going for visas or anything else?

    • ExploriaOperatorWritten December 2022

This is a specially designed tour to explore the beautiful Karakoram range. The total distance is around 550 km and is easy for a cyclist. This could be challenging for travelers with special medical conditions as you will be cycling from an altitude of 1500m to 4694m. No problems for the US citizens. You will be needing a letter of invitation from our company to visit Pakistan which is an easy process.

    • E

      Elaine

      TravelerWritten December 2022

Thanks, Ajmal- one other question. Does the letter of invitation allow the participant to arrive in Pakistan without a visa, or to obtain one on arrival?

    • ExploriaOperatorWritten December 2022

A letter of invitation is a mandatory procedure to acquire a tourist visa to Pakistan. A letter of invitation is complimentary when the tour is booked with us.
