First tour I have done where the tour manager could not speak the local language and could only speak to the driver through a translation app. A tourist map for each destination would be useful, particularly for those who had not done their own research. I cannot believe 35 of us had to walk 25 minutes just to get to the train station in order to catch 2 more trains to get into Rome, because the hotel was out in the middle of nowhere. Cost us money and a lot of stress to try to rearrange/cancel/modify other bookings we'd made based on the original itinerary we were given. Terrible hotels selected by tour operator (too far from everything and too many broken or not working features, such as a/c, fridge, laundry service etc and too small) and not very organised by tour leader - a lot of the group were left wondering where we were going and how long it would take to get there, or where we were a lot of the time. Coach driver was very good. Too much crammed into too little time which meant not enough time for sleep, no time to relax or repack bags or do laundry or anything else, and too much walking and public transport just to get to locations of interest. Also didn't get to visit many locations of interest - just saw the outside/exterior. Meals included were of very poor standard. Last day was totally vested. Did not get much of a help with airline booking and hotel reservations. They are usually in the outskirts in order to keep the tour affordable. The included meals were not that good of quality. I think they need to work on this. Asked on November 8th, 2024Can you please send me the hotel list? Is hotel included on Day 16? The description says end point is hotel, but the accommodation section shows 15 nights. How many hours a day are we on the bus? What happens if someone gets Covid? Are they required to leave the tour? Can you send me a list of optional excursions and prices? If I am coming with a friend and want to share a room, can each of us book separately? What's the process?

Hotels for our tours are confirmed closer to departure. Tour ends on 16th Day in Rome around 11AM with no accommodations included for the evening. Our coaches travel 3-6 Hours per day. If a traveler contracts Covid, they can choose to end the tour early or continue. We offer Twin Share Accommodation where 2 persons share a room. If booking separately, you can request to be roomed with your friend.
