Athens
You'll land in Athens and check into your hotel, then meet the rest of the group. The crew will walk you through how things work and get you oriented to the city. It's a good chance to settle in and start getting a feel for Greece before the real exploring starts tomorrow.

- Day 2
Thermopylae - Meteora
This morning you'll head to the Parthenon and Acropolis with a local guide who'll fill in the history. Then it's off to Thermopylae to see the Hot Gates and the Spartan memorial. After that, you'll drive to Meteora where massive sandstone rocks rise up from the landscape with old monasteries sitting on top of them. It's quite a sight.

Delphi
You'll spend the morning walking around Meteora's monasteries perched on those dramatic cliff formations. Later in the day, you'll travel to Delphi, an ancient spiritual center with lots of history to explore. By evening, you can try some ouzo at local bars and soak in the atmosphere of this historical town.

- Day 4
Athens
Your morning focuses on the Sanctuary of Apollo with its impressive Doric columns overlooking Mt. Parnassus. If you're interested, there's an optional visit to a family-run beekeeping business to learn how they make honey the traditional way. You'll head back to Athens for your last night before catching the ferry to the islands.

Athens to Mykonos
You'll take the ferry across the Aegean Sea to Mykonos and get settled into your accommodation for the next two nights. There's an optional walking tour through town's cobbled streets this evening if you want to explore with a local guide, or you can wander around on your own pace.

Pick up some evil eye ornaments if they catch your eye and jump in the ocean whenever the mood strikes.

Mykonos to Paros
The ferry takes you to Paros, the next stop on your island tour. There's an optional guided trip to a local village where you can visit a family bakery and shop for handmade goods.

Ios
Your final island day can be as active or relaxed as you want.
