- DBDiane Van· July 11th, 2025I had used TourRadar in the fall for a trip to Ecuador. They hooked me up with a local travel agency, Adventure Journeys, who was exceptional. So I decided to try TourRadar for a trip to Greece. We got our final literary and lots of vouchers six days before we left. We all thought that we had booked to upgraded hotels but were in the tourist class. When we questioned Click Tours they told us we had booked tourist class. I had nothing to show otherwise. So perhaps we hit the wrong button. I will make screen shots in the future. The itinerary we got 6 days before we left was in a different order than advertised. It went in the order of the islands, 4 day bus tour and then Athens. This meant that after 13 hours of flying we left for a 5 hour ferry ride the next morning. Really thought it would have worked out better as originally scheduled. We were picked up on time with one exception in the port of Athens where the driver had gone to the wrong dock. We called the numbers we were given (note you need to dial the +) and someone came for us within 20 minutes. All the cabs we used were mini-vans with plenty of space for us and our luggage. The hotel in Athens, the Jason Inn is located near a lot of attractions, restaurants, etc. There is a bus stop and a metro very close. It is a bit worn in places but it was clean and we had everything we needed. The staff for the most part was friendly and helpful. Santorini hotel is in a small village in middle of the island. Because we had a very limited amount of time on the island we choose not to use the bus. Hotel to Fira is about an hour each way by bus. We took cabs and Uber. Very expensive. Hotel to Fira E20-E35, hotel to Imerovigil look out E40. (The walk down from the Imerovigil lookout was worth it.) There is a small store and some restaurants in the village but there is no sidewalk and you wind up walking in the street. The staff at the hotel Kalisperis is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice size pool. The water at the hotel is not drinkable. You get one bottle of water free on check-in and have to buy the rest. There is a dispenser that dispenses juice and water near the breakfast area. You can refill your water bottle there. Breakfast was ok. We took the optional sunset cruise. It was nice. I would recommend it. We got upgraded seats on the ferry to Mykonos which reclined which was nice. We had booked the optional tour to Delos but changed our mind because of the heat. We contacted Click Tours 2 days before the tour and were informed 'The optional tour Delos Tour by Boat in Mykonos is non refundable at this stage and this is will be with cancelation fee'. So rather than have to pay a cancellation fee not to to go, we went. We were right it was too hot. Delos is interesting but be advised there is no shade and no standing buildings. There are a few columns and some mosaic floor the rest is ruins. The small museum does have some interesting pieces. The Olia hotel in Mykonos is built into a steep hill. There are lots of steps and no elevator. The hotel is nice, clean. The water ath the hotel is not drinkable. The staff tried to answer all our questions. The rooms were small and it was difficult to deal with our luggage. There is a nice size pool at the front of the building by the highway. It has a lot of steps that expand into the middle of the pool which makes it a bit difficult to swim - your knees hit them pretty quickly. There are a couple of stores near by but you do have to walk in the road to get to them. When we checked out we were told to roll our luggage to the upper parking lot and then down a steep driveway to the highway, walk a couple of dozen steps in the highway to the van parked in front of the hotel. Why they couldn't pull the van into the upper parking lot is a mystery. The hotel is well located. It is easy to get Little Venice, the windmills, etc by water taxi (bus) which is just across the road in the new port. Very reasonable prices. The 4 day bus tour and the Athens half day tour is handled by G.O. Tours of Athens. Pros: Well organized. They gave us information which was helpful and answered any questions we had. Knowledgeable guide. Nice bus. Felt like we got a good overview of attractions. There were a number of stops. Meals were OK. They did a good job of getting us through quickly. Mostly buffets and mostly with the same dishes each time. Cons: They pick up at a lot of hotels so you may be on bus for an hour before each tour starts. They pick up extra people. Four day tour started with about 30-35 people. The second day we picked up 3 more people. The next day we picked up more people filling the 65 seat bus. According the the original TourRadar it was supposed to be 0-40 people on tour. With a full bus (65) the air condtioning on the bus had a hard time. I was sweating in the afternoon. They do the tours in two languages. So everything is repeated. This doubles the time of tour. The seats on the bus were a bit tight. Think economy seating on an airplane. The places we stopped for lunch and snacks were often pricey. E3-E4 for 12 oz bottle of coke. Meals ranged from E15-E30. Recommend allowing E30/day per person. Click Tours is in Israel not Greece. The documents we got after we landed had the names of Travel + Zone and G.O. Tours on them. They are the companies that seemed to run the tours. Both of those companies were quite good. I would not use Click Tours again. When we asked about things to do in our free time, they referred us to optional tour on Mykonos which really wasn't what we were looking for. We asked again with more detail and got no answer. Along with changing the order of the tour without letting us know, the Delos tour cancellation fee and the tourist hotel misunderstanding (which may have been us) I did not feel like they were trying to accommodate us in anyway. They have the set tour and that's that.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- CBCarla· April 24th, 2024I didn't finish my sentence. The tour guide was funny, personable, and knowledgeable. I feel that I learned a lot about each location and I took some of the most amazing pictures of my life. The leisure time was awesome. The food was usually buffet style at our hotels but not bad by any stretch. I made friends with people on the tour which was fun. We also went to Santorini and Mykonos and I'm so glad we did. Was able to have some relaxing time at the end of the trip and see some classic Greek island cities.Show moreTrip date: March 2024
- CBCarla· April 24th, 2024I was very happy with how trip was set up. We were met at every location (like getting off the plane and ferry, etc) with a great guide who got us to our hotel and explained our itinerary. They also had all the travel tickets and gave us extra information on places to go and see and how to get to them. Every hotel was different but all were nice and in safe areas. The bus tour around mainland Greece was very easy and I think gave us the most bang for our buck. Super impressed by the bus driver and our tour guide was funny absShow moreTrip date: March 2024

- Ros· July 21st, 2023The Tour Guide for the 4 day classical Tour was not interested in creating an inclusive tour of everyone on the tour. He seemed to not care about people's health and safety. It was very hot for the 4 days and he didn't seem to care about the group. At many of the sites, he opted for the shade and left many of us by ourselves in the 44 degree heat. He did not wait for many of us that were part of the group to catch up to him before he started explaining various archaeological ruins, especially at Olympia. This was very poor and frustrating.Show moreTrip date: July 2023
