- Day 1
Aswan
You'll arrive at Aswan International Airport where someone will meet you and drive you to your 4-star hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The tour reception manager handles your check-in, and your guide will reach out to confirm the pickup times for the tours coming up.

Aswan
After having breakfast at your hotel, your guide takes you to see the High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile and produce electricity. From there you'll head to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest ancient obelisk ever found in Egypt's quarries, which would have been about 42 meters tall and weighed nearly 1,200 tons if they'd finished it. You return to the hotel by evening.

Aswan to Abu Simbel
This morning you leave at 3:30 AM with a box breakfast from your hotel and travel to the two Temples of Abu Simbel, which were moved to save them from flooding with help from UNESCO. You see the Temple of Ramesses II, which was built for the gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and Ramesses II, and the Temple of Queen Nefertari dedicated to Hathor. Later you have lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan and some free time before heading to the airport for your afternoon flight.
