- Deborah· May 28th, 2024Jorge Avila was our wonderful proud Costa Rican guide. He was very warm, enjoyable, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He had insightful input to questions and potential issues likely of common concern. He was always open to questions and graciously repeated information. Each day had a thoughtful mix of educational, informal and personal info along with quiet moments that made the day quite enjoyable. Our tour had a happy mix of the cloud forest, jungle, and volcanic terrain and a dash of tourist/souvenir exposure that was just right for my expectations of flora and fauna exposure. Lodging was above my expectations and meals delicious with generous variety. Glad I went!Show more
- Rebecca· November 11th, 2023Our tour director and bus driver were excellent. Our hotel in San Jose was excellent and the one in LA Fortuna very good. However the one in Monteverde was not so good. The beds were uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning and no fans. If this hotel was better my rating would have been 5 stars.Show more
- Cindy· January 30th, 2020The tour itself was great however there were way too many people on the tour. When I booked it said a maximum of 20 people but there were 38 on the tour. This meant that there was always half of us that couldn't hear the guide or missed the wildlife. This was very upsetting to pay a lot of money to miss things that the other travelers were experiencing!!!Show more

Asked on November 11th, 2022Is it possible to arrange a private tour for me and my wife for early January with a bilingual (Espagnol-Ingles) guide? Also, we would like to end the tour in San Jose in order to return to the US via that airport.

Depending on how many people you have we could see about a custom tour. We need at least 20 people to do a custom tour. All our tours are conducted in English.
