- John· March 14th, 2025All I can say is WOW!! Totally exceeded by expectations. The pace was excellent and Lovisa Birgitsdottier was the most amazing guide. She was professional, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland. Our driver, Gunnar was friendly and hard working. What a great team! The sights, sounds, smells, tastes and textures will live on forever in our memories. It was so heartwarming to see her excitement at seeing the Northern Lights with us, even though I know she has had many such experiences.Show moreTrip date: February 2025

- ALalice· May 25th, 2019We went on Flaajokull glacier walk on 24th May. Christian our Transylvanian guide was vigilant on health and safety and knew every step of the glacier well. We would like to thank him for keeping a special lookout for my husband and I on the 2.5 hr walk. He went directly out on another group walk after us, we hope he can have timeout for lunch in future.Show moreIceland Travel commented on this reviewDear Alice Thank you for your review and kind words toward our guide. Asked on February 7th, 2025I have a question - my clients are looking to do a pre and post night hotel - if I book it for them the room is non-refundable - but I get commission - what are the chances that you will change your hotel in Reykjavik ? If I book it with you is it available ? is it commissionable ? How do we proceed ? If we book with you and you change the hotel in the tour - do you also change the pre and post night hotel reserved?
- Iceland TravelOperator•Written February 2025
We can book pre-night 17-18 Feb and post night 23-24 Feb at Fosshotel Reykjavik. Rate EUR 256 per room per night / This is a NET price to you.

Traveler•Written February 2025My last question is - is there any chance at all that the Fosshotel Reykjavik will change ? If you tell me that the hotel is NOT going to change I prefer to reserve the hotel in CAD $$ here locally - can you please let me know as this is a very delicate issue for my client.
- Iceland TravelOperator•Written February 2025
We are NOT changing the hotel for the tour. This is all confirmed and not going to be changed. They will 100% be staying at Fosshotel Reykjavik, no worries about that :)

Asked on September 16th, 2024How long is spent at the Blue Lagoon, and can the pass for the Blue Lagoon be upgraded to "premium"? And regarding accommodation, if we want to upgrade any of the hotels, can we? Finally, how many people do you anticipate on the tour that starts Oct. 3?
- Iceland TravelOperator•Written September 2024
We usually book Blue Lagoon stay for at least 2 hours, max 3 hours. The ticket included to our Hidden Power tour is "Comfort pass", but it is also possible to update the pass to Premium with supplement. We can upgrade the hotel in Reykjavik area, but not possible to upgrade in the country side hotel, due to availability. 3 Oct departure has 30 pax booked and almost fully booked, the next available departure 10 Oct will be a small group tour, max 8 pax with a guide.
