Arrival in Riyadh
You'll arrive at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh where your private driver and guide are waiting. The transfer to your hotel in urban Riyadh takes about 30 minutes (35 km / 21.7 miles). Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and adjust to the time difference.

- Day 2
Riyadh Old Town Sightseeing
Start in Riyadh's old town by visiting Al Masmak Museum, which covers the royal family's role in modern development. From there, head to Al Murabba Palace to see where Saudi royals lived. Next stop is the National Museum of Saudi Arabia and National Museum Park to get a sense of the country's history and the region's geography. By evening, you'll walk through Dira Souq, the historic market where you can pick up brass items and local souvenirs to take home.

Al Ahsa Oasis
You'll drive about 3.5 hours south (350 km / 217.5 miles) to reach Al Ahsa Oasis in Al Hafuf. This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the world's largest oases, with around 2.5 million date palms scattered throughout gardens, canals, springs, and wells. After exploring the landscape and historical structures, you'll visit Ibrahim Palace, an important Arabic building that once functioned as a military base.

Riyadh Heritage and Modern Landmarks
This morning focuses on Old Diriyah, where you'll walk through the heritage ruins of the ancient capital with its distinctive central Arabian Peninsula design. Later, you'll head to Kingdom Tower to go up the 311-meter structure and take in the panoramic views across the city. In the afternoon, check out Al Rajhi Grand Mosque and the King Fahd National Library before heading back to your accommodation.

Riyadh to Al Ula and Madain Saleh
You'll fly to Al Ula where your guide meets you at the airport. The drive to Madain Saleh takes about an hour. This Nabatean archaeological site contains ancient tombs, temples, palaces, and wells carved into rock faces, showing a blend of Roman, Nabatean, and Babylonian influences. You'll spend time exploring Al Diwan (Ethleeb Mountain) before checking in at your hotel in Al Ula downtown.

- Day 6
Al Deerah Heritage Village and Elephant Rock
Start at Al Deerah Heritage Village, a traditional Arabian settlement with houses built on a cliff to protect from flooding, dating back to before the 8th century. From Musa Ibn Nusayr Fort, you'll get good views of the old city. Next, you'll see the mud houses scattered around town and then head to Elephant Rock, an enormous natural formation that looks even more striking as the sun sets in the evening light.

Rock Art in Hail District
You'll drive about 4 hours into the desert to reach Hail district and its rock art sites, which are also on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Once there, you can see thousands of ancient rock paintings and colored drawings on stone surfaces along with old Arabic inscriptions spread across the landscape. These pieces show cultural development from the Neolithic Age through later periods.

Al Ula to Jeddah
An early flight takes you to Jeddah, where your driver and guide pick you up at the airport. You'll head to Al-Balad (Historic Jeddah), the 7th-century old quarter filled with restaurants, cafes, and traditional Arabic architecture. After checking out Beit Nassif and the Historical Jeddah North Gate, you'll move to the New Jeddah Corniche along the Red Sea. There's time for a cycling ride by the water if you're interested. End the evening at the Floating Mosque, a distinctive white-domed structure built directly on the sea.
