Itinerary
- Day 1
Kampong Cham to Angkor Ban
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your ship docked in Kampong Cham, where you board the Mekong River cruise. After settling into your suite, lunch is served onboard while you start cruising toward Angkor Ban. In the afternoon, a tuk tuk takes you out to Koh Pen, an agricultural island with shaded lanes and traditional wooden stilted houses where you can walk around and see how locals live. Back on the ship, the welcome dinner brings everyone together for the first evening.

- Day 2
Oknha Tey
This morning starts with a walking tour through Angkor Ban, a rural village that managed to survive the Khmer Rouge period. You'll see wooden houses over a hundred years old and get a real sense of authentic village life here. After heading back to the ship, you continue sailing toward Oknha Tey, locally called Silk Island. Once there, you'll check out the town's traditional silk weaving workshops and watch weavers at work.

Koh Chen - Phnom Penh
Early on you're heading to Oudong, Cambodia's former royal capital, where you'll participate in a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony with monks at a local monastery. The journey back takes you through Koh Chen village, where you can walk through open-air copperware workshops and watch artisans crafting their pieces. Back on the ship, your afternoon is free to do what you want in Phnom Penh, or you can sign up for optional activities like a cooking workshop, cyclo tour, or other experiences.

Phnom Penh
Your morning includes a difficult but important visit to the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, where you'll learn about Cambodia's history during the Khmer Rouge era and pay respects at the Memorial Stupa. After lunch, you'll visit the Royal Palace from 1866 and tour the Silver Pagoda with its white and gold Khmer design and 5,000 silver floor tiles. The rest of your afternoon is yours to spend browsing the Russian Market or Central Market for souvenirs, or just relaxing back on the ship.

Phnom Penh to Tan Chau
You'll spend this day cruising on the ship toward the Vietnamese border while border procedures are handled. While that's happening, there are onboard presentations and demonstrations to keep you entertained. Once you cross into Vietnam, you'll cruise into Tan Chau, a scenic riverside town where you'll dock for the night.

Landmarks Tan Chau - Day 6
Vinh Hoa - Sa Dec
Starting early, you'll travel by small boat through the tributaries around Tan Chau, then go ashore for a rickshaw tour down local laneways past shops and friendly residents. You'll stop to see traditional silk and rattan weaving workshops. Later you head to Vinh Hoa, also called Evergreen Island, where you can see traditional Vietnamese farming practices in action. After getting back to the ship, you continue cruising toward Sa Dec.

Cai Be - My Tho
A boat takes you past floating fish farms on the way to Sa Dec, where you'll explore the colorful market on foot. You'll walk past old waterside mansions to reach the home of Mr. Huynh Thuy Le, the place that inspired Marguerite Duras to write 'L'Amant'. Back on the ship you have lunch while cruising to Cai Be, and then a local boat takes you ashore to visit the cathedral and a rice paper and coconut candy manufacturer. This evening brings a special farewell dinner on board as you continue sailing toward My Tho.
