Hanoi
Your driver meets you at the airport with a German-speaking guide and drives about 35 minutes to your hotel in central Hanoi. After checking in around 14:00, you can either rest from traveling or wander through the old town's narrow streets and colonial buildings on your own. Breakfast is set up for tomorrow morning.

Hanoi
Spend the full day seeing Hanoi's main sights from around 08:00 to 17:00. You'll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex including the mausoleum, Presidential Palace, historic Stilt House and One Pillar Pagoda. Then head to the Temple of Literature and walk around Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son Temple. A rickshaw ride takes you through the Old Quarter before ending with a Water Puppet Theatre performance. All entrance fees are included in this tour.

Halong Bay
Travel to Halong Bay with nearly 2000 islands and limestone cliffs rising from the water. You'll board a junk and spend the night cruising through the bay. An English-speaking guide travels with you while you enjoy fresh seafood for dinner and watch the sunset over the dramatic landscape.

Halong Bay to Hue
Your morning starts with breakfast on the junk while you continue cruising through Halong Bay's islands. You'll explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site until midday, then disembark and transfer to Danang airport for an afternoon flight to Hue. When you arrive, your German-speaking guide picks you up and takes you to your hotel.

Hue
Today focuses on Hue's cultural and imperial history. A boat trip on the Perfume River brings you to the impressive Thien Mu Pagoda with its tall Phuoc Duyen Tower. You'll tour the Imperial Palace and walk through the imperial city, then stop at Trang Tien Bridge and Dong Ba Market to see Vietnamese culture and food up close. The afternoon includes visits to royal tombs and garden houses showing the Grand Dynasty's past. All entrance fees are included.

Hue to Hoi An
The drive from Hue to Hoi An takes about 3.5 hours covering 150 km with stops at Cloud Pass and views of Lang Co beach. You'll stop at Marble Mountains near Danang to hike up limestone peaks, explore temples and get panoramic city views. From there continue to Hoi An, a former trading port from the 16th-18th centuries known for its mixed architecture, tailor shops and cafes. Check into your hotel and arrange your own dinner.

Hoi An
Walk through Hoi An's old quarter this morning from around 08:30 to 15:00 on foot. You'll move through winding narrow streets visiting Chua Ong or Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tam Ky House and the covered Japanese Bridge. A cultural show with traditional music and dance follows, then head to the Precious Heritage Museum. After that, bike out to Tra Que village for a farm walk, foot bath and massage before preparing and eating your own lunch. Van transport is available if you prefer not to bike.

Saigon to Ben Tre (Mekong Delta)
This excursion heads to the Mekong Delta about 90 km away (2 hours) in Ben Tre, a coastal province famous for fruit plantations and coconut groves. Your boat trip on the Mekong River includes a stop at a small farm to try local fruit and tea. A rickshaw ride brings you to a restaurant for lunch, then continue by small boat through narrow waterways back to Ben Tre. The whole trip runs from about 08:00 to 16:30 before transferring back to Saigon.

Siem Reap
Spend the day exploring the Angkor Wat temple complex from around 08:00 to 17:30. Stone walls inside feature carvings and bas-reliefs showing Hindu mythology and wars from Suryavarman II's time. The temple is famous for its more than 2000 Apsara dancer carvings. After lunch at a local restaurant (your cost), visit ancient Angkor Thom, the last Khmer Empire capital under Jayavarman VII. Enter through the South Gate with impressive stone elephants and giant faces, then continue to Ta Prohm temple which remains overgrown with jungle trees and vines. Your evening is free to visit Pup Street with bars, discos and restaurants.

After lunch at a local restaurant (your cost), travel through lush countryside to a local farming village to experience daily Cambodian life. Tour the village and learn about daily routines and local beliefs, meet residents and attend a monk blessing ceremony at the pagoda. Enjoy seasonal fruits and fresh coconut juice at a homestay, then watch the sunset from Sra Srang water reservoir before returning to town.
