Arrival in Santiago
You'll land at Santiago International Airport where someone meets you and takes you to your hotel. After traveling, the evening is yours to settle in and rest up.

Santiago
Today is free to explore Santiago on your own. You can check out the city's museums, relax in one of the hillside parks, or check out the nightlife options this cosmopolitan city offers.

Santiago to Atacama
You're transferred to Santiago Airport for your domestic flight to Atacama. Once you land at Calama airport, someone meets you and drives you to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

You have the day free to spend however you like in San Pedro de Atacama.

Atacama to Villa Mar
Today you travel via the Hito Cajón Bolivian border to Villa Mar, passing through the Valley of Dali and stopping at Chalviri hot springs. You'll visit the Geysers of the Sun Morning to see the hot mud colors, then head to Laguna Colorada where the James Flamingos live.

Uyuni Salt Flats
You see the strange rock formations in Stones Valley and take in the vast Uyuni Salt Flats. The trip includes the giant cactus on Incahuasi Island and a look at how salt gets extracted at a processing plant. Lunch happens in the middle of the Salt Flats.

Uyuni to Tupiza
You travel to the quiet Bolivian town of Tupiza, stopping along the way to see the mining center of Atocha. Once you arrive, you take a short walk through the city.

Tupiza to Purmamarca
You cross into Argentina and head to the colorful northwest region and the town of Humahuaca. After some free time to explore, you continue to Tilcara. You'll visit Pucara, an important archaeological site with a hilltop fortress and valley views. Then you see Tilcara's Archaeological Museum and head to Purmamarca.

Purmamarca to Salta
This morning is free to explore Purmamarca Village, where you can see the famous Hill of Seven Colors, the church, and the craft market. You wander the narrow streets and meet locals before heading to Salta, known for its colonial architecture and mountainous backdrop.

Argentinean Iguazu Falls
You spend the full day on the Argentinean side of Iguazu Falls. There are three routes: the Lower Path gives views of most rapids and falls with lots of steps (about 2 hours); the Higher Path crosses the canyon top so you look down (about 1 hour); the Devil's Throat Path uses the Ecological Jungle Train then trails to lookout balconies (about 2 hours).

Iguazu to Buenos Aires
A half-day excursion takes you to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. Separated by the Iguazu River and a UNESCO site since 1986, this area protects one of South America's largest natural zones. You walk along a 1,200-meter catwalk and see the 275 falls. After, you head to Puerto Iguazu Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel.

Buenos Aires City Tour
On your guided Buenos Aires tour, you see the Metropolitan Cathedral, Government House, and Plaza de Mayo. You watch people tango in San Telmo, then visit the colorful La Boca neighborhood known for artists. After seeing Palermo's elegant buildings and parks, you end in Recoleta with its cemetery and fine restaurants.
