Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be picked up and driven to Nairobi Boma Inn hotel. Get yourself settled in and take the rest of the day to rest up before your photography safari kicks off tomorrow morning.

Landmarks/POIs Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Day 2
Nairobi to Masai Mara
You'll start early at 0730 hrs and drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint to get some photos. By lunchtime you'll reach Masai Mara, then head out that afternoon for your first game drive. Later you'll check into Mara Jambo Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Landmarks/POIs Great Rift Valley Masai Mara National Reserve - Days 3 - 4
Masai Mara
These days are all about photographing Masai Mara National Reserve during game drives. You'll head to the Mara River to capture the wildlife migration along with other scenic areas throughout the reserve. If you're interested, a hot air balloon safari can be arranged for an additional fee.

Landmarks/POIs Masai Mara National Reserve Mara River - Day 5
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast you'll drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving by lunch. The afternoon brings an exploration of the park where you can photograph endangered rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, lions, leopards, and the varied birdlife. You'll stay overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Nakuru National Park - Day 6
Lake Nakuru
You'll spend this full day photographing throughout Lake Nakuru National Park. There's plenty of opportunity to capture the famous flamingos, over 400 bird species, endangered Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, lions, waterbucks, buffalo, and baboons. Return to Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Landmarks/POIs Lake Nakuru National Park - Day 7
Lake Nakuru to Samburu
After breakfast you'll drive to Samburu Game Reserve, getting there by lunchtime. Following lunch, you'll head out on a game drive to photograph resident species including Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy's Zebras, Beisa Oryx, and Blue-necked Somali Ostriches. Later you'll settle in at Samburu Ashnil Game Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Landmarks/POIs Samburu National Reserve - Days 8 - 9
Samburu
These days you'll explore Samburu Game Reserve to get the best wildlife shots. You'll also visit Samburu villages to learn about local life and photograph the Samburu Morrans. Throughout your time here you can capture leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, and crocodiles, plus over 365 bird species.

Landmarks/POIs Samburu National Reserve Ewaso Nyiro River - Day 10
Samburu to Mt Kenya Region
After breakfast you'll drive to the Mt Kenya region and arrive at Sweetwaters Tented Camp by lunchtime. In the afternoon you'll explore Sweetwaters Sanctuary for game photography. Optional night game drives to see nocturnal animals can be arranged for an additional cost. You'll stay overnight at the lodge.

Landmarks/POIs Sweetwaters Sanctuary - Day 11
Mt Kenya Region to Nairobi
Start with an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. After that you'll drive back to Nairobi, arriving by 1400 hrs for drop-off at the airport or your city hotel. Your 11-day Kenya wildlife photography safari wraps up here.
