- Mark· April 19th, 2019I had an excellent trip to last year to the Wine Fight in Spain, i was a solo traveler but i met so many cool people which i enjoyed my trip with. I upgraded to the glamping option, which gave me some luxury at the campsite i could not recommend this enough. Guides helped get the party started and meals were great and would recommend adding the booze option for £10 per day.Show moreTrip date: June 2018
- Earl· September 26th, 2018I was most excited to check out San Vino as it was something i hadn't heard about to much from all the way in Aus, but thats the beauty of Stoke, not only filling you with copious amounts of alcohol and throwing they're epic off site parties. But they make sure they get you to these amazing cultural traditions that would be way to much effort me to organise myself. Doing it all with new friends from all over the globe, they're epic memories and photos ill enjoy forever. From the minute we arrived we could relax, my new best mate Harry, a tent runner got me straight to my humble abode, set up before the debauchery, then straight to the bar to grab a drink, my traditional stoke outfit ready to be drenched, and show me around site. Your greeted here by nothing but smiles, make friends with the staff, they've done it all before and know how to show you the best time, they're bloody sexy to. And be nice to the kitchen, they keep us alive with amazing food and work harder than anyone. The parties went off with bands from Aus, New Zealand, London and some swirly guy from outer space.. Then the stoke crew guided us up the hill and we were off to some street party, two back to back massive stages of cranking music, everyone on shoulders, wine going everywhere, after a massive night it was time to stumble home. Getting ready to do it all again i stumbled across a netball game, being the competitive half pissed aussie i couldn't help myself and registered at the desk and joined in. My guide was playing, extremely tall handsome man Wade Gravy, but id never seen someone so uncoordinated in my whole life, looked like a kid learning how to dance. Time for the wine fight, we were lead straight to the buses by the stoke staff and off we went marching up the hill (definitely wear shoes) fucking painful up that hill, and wear goggles, even better take a box of wine, i was the most unprepared fighter on the hill, and they knew it, splashed by old women, infants and anyone, it was a cold burning sea of red. After a while on the hill it was back down off to the fires then back to the stoke offsite party. Thanks so much to the staff crew for finding these amazing events, and throwing epic parties, and somehow hearding all of us buckled sheep from site to party to wine fight and all in one piece, don't know how they do it but they're good at it. See you next year yyewwwwShow moreTrip date: June 2018
- HHolly· November 3rd, 2017Looking at the website you can judge the kind of experience you are going to have and to be honest, stoke was everything and more!! The staff are awesome and really want everyone to have a good time and meeting people from all around the world to party with is so cool. Great food, sick set up and good prices! - Olivia· July 26th, 2017I went with Stoke Travel to San Vino, the wine fight in Haro, Spain. This was by far my favorite tour experience ever! The staff were fun and friendly and always willing to party with you. There were chill out spaces for when the hangover was too much, but the unlimited beer and sangria along with beer pong table, dj, and dance area all created an amazing party atmosphere outside the festival! Having delicious breakfast and dinner provided (not that prepackaged muffin shit) as well as accommodation, booze, and good times at only 60 Euros a night? Sign me up for more Stoke trips please! As far as the festival itself, what can beat being pelted with red wine by local Spaniards, then climbing to the top of the hill for a spectacular view of the mountains and vineyards? The public buses stop right outside the Stoke campsite, making it super easy to get to the fight, boxes of red wine provided by your Stokie guides in hand. The street parties went all night long with live bands and even children out late! Thanks for an amazing time, can't wait to see you crazy people at La Tomatina!Show moreTrip date: June 2017
- Sophie· July 22nd, 2017This festival is absolutely amazing, and Haro is such a great little town full of amazing locals. Unfortunately if you're a true 'Stokie' it was the done thing to stay at the campsite getting blackout drunk with other Aussies. The staff were apathetic at best and more interested in each other than the needs of the paying guests. You'll have a much better time if you get a hotel room with a group of friends, immerse yourself with the locals and the culture and make your own way up to the battle on the hill.Show moreStoke Travel commented on this reviewHola Sophie! Yes you are absolutely correct, La Batalla de Vino de Haro is an amazing festival, very unique and still quite local. It hasn't changed much, if at all, since we first started coming here about a decade ago. We love it! As far as all... Show moreTrip date: June 2017
- NNiels· July 18th, 2017Went to San Vino this year and had a blast. The stoke team was just that, frothing on pure stoke! Crazy times in the small traditional village and the campsite was on point! Already signed up for Tomatina and next year's San vino. Cheers to the Stoke teamShow moreTrip date: June 2017
- OBOlivia· January 4th, 2017I went to San Vino with Stoke Travel last year and it was the best festival I have ever been to! The Stoke campsite is within walking distance to the street parties, which go all night, and it has a pool! We partied with the locals and got an authentic Spanish Fiesta experience. The festival itself was incredible! Stoke has buses going right up to the where the Wine Fight begins and then you can spend as long as you like there. I would definitely recommend this festival and Stoke Travel to anyone.Show moreTrip date: June 2016
