Nairobi
You'll meet your guide when you arrive in Nairobi and get transferred to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the afternoon is yours to wander around the city and get your bearings at your own pace.

Nairobi to Samburu
Head out right after an early breakfast toward Samburu, driving through mountain streams and past tea and coffee plantations. Lunch happens at Trout Tree Restaurant along the route, then you'll do your first game drive as you make your way to Ashnil Samburu Camp. Once you arrive, check in and freshen up before dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Samburu National Reserve - Day 3
Samburu
You've got the whole day in Samburu National Reserve with both a morning and afternoon game drive. Watch for reticulated giraffes, gerenuk antelope, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and those rare Grevy's zebras that live here. Elephants congregate along the Uaso Nyiro River, and you'll see plenty of different bird species throughout the day.

Samburu to Aberdare
After breakfast, drive through the lush Aberdare Mountain Range forests to Aberdare Country Club, where you'll have lunch and check in. Later in the afternoon, head to The Ark Lodge and spend the evening watching wildlife from the viewing decks at the natural waterhole. The floodlit waterhole at night lets you see nocturnal animals too.

Landmarks/POIs Aberdare Mountain Range - Day 5
Aberdare to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, travel to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive through the area. You'll grab lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, then get back out for an afternoon drive. Before dinner and your overnight stay, catch a sunset game drive for some of the best light and animal activity.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, getting there in time for lunch and checking into Sarova Mara Game Camp. In the afternoon, you'll do your first game drive in the reserve, where the wildlife and scenery are both exceptional. The animal populations here are comparable to what existed a century ago.

Landmarks/POIs Masai Mara National Reserve - Day 7
Masai Mara
Spend the full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve covers roughly 1510 square kilometers of open landscapes and woodland. You'll see over 95 mammal species and 570 bird species, including all five members of the Big Five: lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and black rhinoceros.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
After a final breakfast, drive across rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, then out across the Rift Valley's expansive plains. When you reach Nairobi, you'll get transferred to the airport for your departure.
