Here is the estimated travel time per day: Day 2: Driving time is 1.5 hours. Day 4: Driving time is 3 hours. Day 5: Driving time is 2.5 hours. Hiking Information: Day 2: Hike is 1.8 miles return (2.9 km) with 500 feet (152 m) elevation gain. Day 3: Different walks and hikes through Olympic National Park. Day 4: Hike is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) with 200 feet (61 m) elevation gain. Day 5: Hike is 5.5 miles (8.9 km) with 1450 feet (442 m) elevation gain. Hotel list: Seattle - Hotel Five. Mt Rainier - Crest Trail Lodge. Portland - Hotel Rose.

This is one of our 'comfort' style tours so it is not overly strenuous but there are still a few hikes included in the itinerary. Olympic National Park - Hiking: hike is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) with 200 feet (61 m) elevation gain. Mt Rainier National Park - Hikes: hike is 5.5 miles (8.9 km) with 1450 feet (442 m) elevation gain. However, if you don't think that you would like to participate in the hiking, you are welcome to sit it out and not participate. Most other days are just simple visits to different sites and not very arduous.

Asked on April 1st, 2022I'm very interested in this tour. I'm travelling alone so a group tour would be best. Ideally I wanted to do something a little longer. Seattle- Olympic NP - coast ( Forks La Push) - Aberdeen - Portland - mt Rainier NP - back to Seattle. I know it's a long shot but I don't suppose you do that/ something similar ? Flying from Uk so assuming I'll have to fly in and out of Seattle.

We do have one other (slightly longer) trip in the North West. It is not exactly as per your wished itinerary, but does include some more places than the Seattle to Portland Discovery! It also has the 19 June as departure date! Would this be something that might be of interest?

Asked on February 14th, 2022What is the mode of transportation and are they wheelchair accessible? Are the excursions wheelchair accessible? If there is anything that is not wheelchair accessible is there someplace he can wait for everyone? He also needs frequent use of the restroom. Are there restrooms on the transport or will there be stops atleast every 2-3 hours?

The vehicles used on this tour are not wheelchair accessible. Your father in law would need to step up into the vehicle (which are generally Ford Transit vans). There are many walks on this tour that are not wheelchair accessible, however, he would be able to wait at the vehicle while the rest of the group hiked. We would stop every 2-3 hours for restrooms.
