Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Tel Aviv

    You'll land at Ben Gurion Airport and head to your hotel in Tel Aviv by limousine. It's a straightforward transfer to settle in for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Capernaum - Sea of Galilee

    After breakfast, drive north toward Nazareth with views of Megiddo along the way. You'll see the Mount of Precipitation, then check out the Church of Annunciation and Church of St. Joseph. From there, head to Cana, Mount Beatitude, and Capernaum where you can see the Benedictine Church. Later, visit the Sea of Galilee (there's an optional baptism opportunity at the Jordan River in Yardenit if you're interested). The drive back takes you through Mount Tabor before returning to Tel Aviv for the night.

  3. Day 3

    Haifa - Acre

    Starting after breakfast, drive along the Mediterranean Coast to Caesarea and tour the Roman Theater, Hippodrome, and temple ruins there. Continue to Haifa to walk through the Baha'i gardens and shrine. Head north to Rosh Hanikra and take the cable car down to walk through ancient grottos. By evening, you'll reach Acre to explore the crusader city and Turkish prison before heading back to Tel Aviv.

    Bethlehem

    After breakfast, drive to Jerusalem and start on the Mount of Olives to see the Church of All Nations and Garden of Gethsemane. Enter the Old City through the Zion Gate and walk through the Armenian Quarter and Byzantine Cardo into the Jewish Quarter, ending at the Western Wall. Follow the Via Dolorosa and its Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Spend time in the Old City market, then head to Bethlehem. Tour the Church of Nativity at Manger Square and see the Field of Ruth before returning to Tel Aviv.

    Dead Sea

    A driver picks you up and takes you through the desert to Masada. You'll ride the cable car to the top while your guide talks about the area. Tour the palaces, restored bath house, Roman barracks, and ancient synagogue. Afterward, head to the Dead Sea where you can swim or try a mud bath. Return to Tel Aviv for the night.

    Early morning around 4:50 AM, a driver takes you to Sde Dov Airport for a flight to Eilat. After landing around 8:15 AM, you'll transfer to the Arava border. Once through border procedures, a Jordanian driver takes you to Petra (about 2 hours with stops). A private guide shows you the Treasury, tombs, Roman Theater, temples, and more. You'll have the option to stay overnight in Petra or Wadi Rum.

After the tour, head back to the Arava border, then take a short ride to Taba and cross into Egypt. Continue to Sharm where an Egyptian driver takes you to your hotel.

    Take an early morning flight to Aswan where a representative meets you at the airport and takes you to your cruise ship for check-in. In the afternoon, tour Aswan and visit the High Dam. Take a motor boat to Philae Island to see the Temple of the Goddess Isis. Enjoy a Felucca sailboat ride around the islands before returning to the ship for dinner.

    Breakfast happens on board the ship. Then sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple shared by Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Edfu to tour the Temple of Horus, which is the most well preserved temple in Egypt. Sail to Luxor and stay on the ship overnight.

    Check out after breakfast and tour the East Bank starting with Karnak temple, the largest temple complex in the world covering over 100 acres. Continue to Luxor temple. After touring, you'll transfer to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo, or contact the tour operator if you need a different departure city.
