Itinerary
- Day 1
Sarajevo
You'll arrive in Sarajevo and head to your hotel, then take a panoramic city tour to get oriented. After checking in, spend the afternoon walking through Old Town on your own, wandering past the Ottoman quarter and Bascarsija square with its historic mosques. The Latin Bridge is there too, marking where the assassination happened that started WWI. From there, you'll see the Austro-Hungarian architecture district including the Cathedral, Orthodox church, and Markale marketplace. The rest of your day is free to explore on your own.

Pocitelj - Blagaj
After breakfast, you're heading toward Mostar with a stop in Konjic to see a 17th-century Ottoman stone bridge. The drive takes you past Jablanicko lake and through Neretva canyon before reaching Mostar. There you'll tour the UNESCO Old Town, check out the famous Old Bridge and the Coppersmiths quarter, then have about an hour to wander around on your own. Next comes the medieval stone town of Pocitelj and Blagaj village with its Buna river springs. You'll be back in Sarajevo by midday.

Central Bosnia
After breakfast, you're heading into central Bosnia to explore the heart of the medieval Bosnian kingdom. Start in Travnik with its fortress on the hilltop, then check out Plava voda springs. You'll drive through countryside and mountains to reach Jajce, the royal town of the kingdom, where there's a 25-meter waterfall right in the city center, a medieval fortress above town, beautiful Pliva lakes, and wooden watermills. You'll have an hour of free time at the lakes before heading back to Sarajevo.
