- Day 1
Launceston
You'll arrive in Launceston, Tasmania's second-largest city situated on the Tamar River. If your flight gets in early, there are several options to fill your time. Consider taking a cruise through Tamar Valley to see the waterway, or walk one of the cliff-side trails around Cataract Gorge. There's also a scenic chairlift that goes right over the water if you want something more relaxed. Later in the day you'll meet your Travel Director for a drink to kick things off.

Legerwood - Bicheno
Start the day at Bridestowe Lavender Estate where you can wander through rows of lavender and sample lavender ice-cream and honey produced on the property by their 500,000 bees. After that, head to Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, which features an avenue of WWI memorial sculptures. As evening approaches, you'll travel to Bicheno where you'll get a chance to spot little penguins coming ashore as the sun sets.

- Day 3
Freycinet National Park
You'll spend the day exploring Freycinet National Park with its dramatic pink granite Hazards Range and brilliant blue ocean stretching out in front of you. The highlight is a lunch cruise on Wineglass Bay, where you'll see this famous landscape up close with its perfect coves and golden sand beaches all around you.

Risdon Cove - Hobart
Morning takes you through the historic township of Richmond where you can see the convict-built goal and bridge, then browse through boutique shops in the area. Later you'll participate in Kipli Takara, a guided cultural walk led by palawa (Tasmanian Aboriginal) guides at Risdon Cove. You'll learn about Aboriginal history and land management practices, and there's an opportunity to taste native bush tucker. By evening you're back in Hobart with time to yourself.

- Day 5
Tasman Peninsula
You'll visit Port Arthur Historic Site with a guided tour from a knowledgeable historian who can provide real context to what you're seeing. After the tour, there's a cruise around the Isle of the Dead, and you'll get views of rugged sea cliffs from Pirate's Bay Lookout. The day also includes seeing Tasman's Arch, Devils Kitchen, and the Blowhole before heading back to Hobart where the evening is yours to do as you wish.

Hobart
This is your last full day in Tasmania and you get to choose how to spend it. You could explore Hobart's city centre with its gallery-lined streets and Georgian architecture, or check out the Tasmanian Museum & Art Gallery which holds about 800,000 objects. If you're feeling more active, Mount Wellington offers alpine forest views and vistas across the River Derwent. Another option is a cruise to Bruny Island to spot fur seals and see Australia's highest sea cliffs from the water.

Departure from Hobart
You'll have time to reflect on your week experiencing the dramatic landscapes, local food and wine, and historic sites across Tasmania. Later you'll head to Hobart Airport for your departure, taking with you memories of the places you've seen and the experiences you've had.
