Itinerary
- Day 1
Flagstaff to North Rim
Your hotel pickup in Flagstaff starts a 4-hour drive north toward the North Rim. The route takes you past the historic Old Navajo Bridge from the 1920s, where you'll stop for photos at this iconic span 467 feet above the Colorado River. After breakfast at the bridge, continue on to Grand Canyon Lodge where you'll check in and take time to settle in. The lodge has massive windows overlooking the canyon, so grab a moment to soak in the views. Later, head out to Bright Angel Point for your first real hike and those impressive canyon vistas. Following lunch, you'll descend the North Kaibab Trail down to Coconino Overlook. By evening, return to the lodge for dinner with canyon views.

- Day 2
North Rim
After breakfast, drive a short distance to the trailhead for a hike through pine and aspen forest at 8,000 feet elevation. You'll walk past ancient fossil beds and reach canyon overlooks where the views stretch out far below. Wildlife moves through these forests regularly, so keep an eye out for elk, deer, coyotes, and other animals that call this area home. Midday brings a picnic lunch at one of the viewpoints overlooking the canyon depths. Continue exploring the rim area before heading back the same way you came. Your guide will prepare a special sunset dinner at Point Imperial, a viewpoint that's hard to beat for evening light.

Landmarks Point Imperial North Rim - Day 3
North Rim to South Rim
Check out and drive 4 hours west, crossing the Colorado River at Lee's Ferry before entering the park through the East Entrance. Stop at Desert View Watchtower, which recreates a Native American tower design. From there, drive along Desert View Drive taking in the scenery. The Grandview Trail becomes your next hike, offering views that stretch over 100 miles on clear days. Built in 1890 to reach the Last Chance Mine, the trail passes historic mining remains including old cabin walls and fireplaces, plus prehistoric sites. After checking into your hotel, head to dinner at the historic El Tovar Lodge right on the South Rim's edge.

South Rim to Sedona
An early checkout gets your day started as you head out on one of the canyon's most scenic ridge hikes. The trail drops steeply with canyon views on all sides, creating some of the best photo opportunities in the area. Once finished, you'll drive 2.5 hours through Oak Creek Canyon toward Sedona, watching the landscape shift from forest to red rock formations. Check into your lodge and find a local restaurant for dinner, something your guide has already picked out for you.

- Day 5
Sedona
This morning's hike starts near Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock, two of Sedona's most recognizable landmarks. You'll climb fairly quickly through layered red sandstone, and your guide will point out desert plants along the way. Cathedral Rock, a nearly 1,000-foot sandstone monolith, sits at the hike's midpoint. Rest in the shade of cottonwoods near Oak Creek's banks while your guide prepares lunch and talks through the native history of this former hunting ground. After eating, finish the hike among towering cliffs and pristine canyons. Back at your lodge, you'll have an hour or two to relax before heading out for another local dinner.

Sedona to Flagstaff
After checking out, shuttle to a nearby trailhead for a must-do Sedona hike along old wagon roads that are now trails. You'll reach a red rock saddle with incredible views, and the trail name comes from overhanging rock that provides shade on part of the route. Schnebly Hill presents challenging sandstone steps and panoramic vistas of the canyons below. Your guide shares the story of T.C. Schnebly and his wife Sedona, after whom the town was named. Eat lunch on the trail, then shuttle back to Flagstaff through Oak Creek Canyon, soaking in the towering red and gold cliffs one final time. You'll say goodbye to new friends and carry memories of Northern Arizona's best-kept places.
