Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arusha to Central Serengeti

    You'll leave Arusha early in the morning and head toward Central Serengeti, driving through some beautiful Tanzanian countryside. There are a couple of stops scheduled along the way to stretch your legs and grab refreshments. In the afternoon, you'll get out on your first game drive where you can look for zebras, wildebeests, and if you're lucky, some predators. By evening you'll settle in at Shuhudia Adventure Camp for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Central Serengeti to North Serengeti

    After breakfast, you're heading north toward Kogatende and North Serengeti with several photo stops planned during the drive. The landscape shifts as you move deeper into the reserve. Later in the afternoon, you'll do a game drive to check out the massive herds moving through during migration season and potentially spot lions or other predators hunting. You'll stay at Serengeti Heritage Camp overnight.

  3. Day 3

    North Serengeti

    This morning starts early with a game drive in North Serengeti when wildlife is most active. You'll come back for breakfast out on the plains themselves, which gives you a real feel for the landscape. Then you're out exploring for most of the day, watching the migration herds move through and looking for lions and cheetahs. During lunch you'll have a picnic in the wilderness with time to photograph, then head back to Serengeti Heritage Camp for dinner.

  4. Day 4

    North Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    You'll have breakfast and then drive south from North Serengeti toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route includes several stops for photography and taking in the views along the way. Once you arrive, there's an afternoon game drive to explore the area and your guide will point out the different wildlife, vegetation, rock formations, and explain how everything connects in this unique ecosystem. You'll sleep at Ngorongoro Wild Camp close to the crater rim.

    Ngorongoro to Arusha

    Early on, you'll descend down into Ngorongoro Crater itself for a guided game drive. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, and lots of other wildlife in a concentrated area. You'll have time to stop at viewpoints and take photos as you work through the crater. After lunch, you'll drive back toward Arusha. Your safari wraps up with an overnight stay at a hotel in Arusha.

For tours departing after February 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Africa Natural Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
