Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Soti Khola
After getting your permits sorted, you'll head out on an 8-hour jeep drive to Soti Khola using the Prithivi highway and some rough off-road routes. The ride takes you through rural villages, paddy fields, and farmland with some nice riverside crossings along the way. You'll get a real sense of local life and see plenty of interesting scenery throughout the journey.

Soti Khola Trek Start
This is a longer first trekking day, roughly 10 hours on mixed terrain, so you'll want to be in good shape for it. You walk with a guide and porter who handles the heavy stuff while you carry just a small day pack. You'll pass through villages and stay at local tea houses, ordering meals from their menus as you go.

Dovan to Philim
Starting from Dovan at the junction of two rivers, you'll hike to Philim in about 6 hours. The route takes you through a rock fall zone and over suspension bridges, passing several small villages along the way. Philim itself is larger than most villages, with a school, health post, and police station.

Landmarks/POIs Dovan Ekle Bhatti Philim - Day 4
Philim to Ghap
You'll walk alongside the river passing through numerous villages, with most trekkers stopping for lunch at Chisopani. There are waterfalls to see and villages perched on cliffs across the water. The day finishes at Ghap, a riverside village in a wide open valley, after roughly 6 hours of hiking.

Ghap to Samagaun
The trek takes you through jungle to a guest house where you can see interesting rock formations from a truss bridge, including a natural rock arch over the river. Then you continue on to Samagaun, a village at the valley's edge that has centuries-old architecture. Expect about 10 hours of trekking for this one.

- Day 6
Samagaun Acclimatization Day
Just 1.5 hours of hiking today to help you adjust to the altitude. You've got choices for what to do with the rest of your time: hike to Birendra Lake for glacier views, head to Manaslu Base Camp for something more challenging, visit a yak shed for quiet time, or go to the monastery for solitude. Keep an eye out for blue sheep, deer, yaks, and various birds.

Samagaun to Samdo
An easy 3-hour day to Samdo village, and you'll want to take it slow because of the altitude change. Enjoy the natural scenery around you. Once you reach Samdo, views of Mt. Manaslu disappear from sight. Samdo is basically the sister village to Samagaun.

- Day 8
Samdo to Dharmashala
You'll trek to Dharmashala, which sits as the base camp for Larke Pass. It's near glaciers in wild, remote landscapes, and you'll sleep at this high-altitude spot. The evening's good for stargazing if conditions allow. Make sure you rest well, eat enough, and drink plenty of water since tomorrow's the big challenge.

Landmarks/POIs Dharmashala - Day 9
Larke Pass Crossing
This is the highlight of the circuit. Head out early to catch the sunrise from a high point, then cross Larke Pass at 5,213 meters, one of the world's highest passes. You'll walk past glacial lakes, glaciers, and rock formations with blue sheep nearby. It's a tough 8 to 10 hours, but the mountain views on both sides are extraordinary and the landscape changes dramatically. A packed lunch is provided.

Landmarks/POIs Larke Pass - Day 10
Bhimtang to Tiliche
On your final trekking day, you and your guides talk through the whole experience and bond as a group. From here, it's a 7-hour trek down to Tiliche at 2,300 meters elevation. You'll get to see Mt. Manaslu from the opposite side this time, with Samagaun just behind the peak. This is probably your last night sleeping in the mountains.

Landmarks/POIs Bhimtang Tiliche - Day 11
Tiliche to Besisahar
A short 1-hour walk from Tiliche brings you to Dharapani, a riverside village with road access. This is where the Manaslu Circuit connects to the Annapurna Circuit route. From there, you'll take a 4-hour jeep ride to Besisahar, which marks the official end of your trek.

Besisahar to Kathmandu
The return to Kathmandu happens by bus from Besisahar, a scenic 6.5-hour drive. You'll arrive in the Thamel district to wrap up the trek experience. It's time to say goodbye with plans to meet again for your next adventure.
