  My friend and I were very excited to get to Greece and start our adventure. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our decision to book with Travel Zone. We arrived to the first stop, Paros and the transportation was not there to pick us up. I had to turn my phone on and use my international plan to contact Dilimar. He responded 5 hours, yes 5 hours after the message was sent and said, "really my apologies for my late reply." Luckily, we are two experienced travelers and go to our hotel no problem. They ended up refunding our transportation for that leg. Fine, still frustrating. I would be very mindful of the hotels. The hotels were very BASIC. In Santorini (you don't stay in Oia or Fira it's Kamari Beach) and Milos there is NOTHING around the hotel and a car is most definitely necessary unless you want to navigate public transport. First, we had a 1-1/2 in Santorini. The excursion that was included in the tour in Santorini was a waste of time. They said to be ready at our hotel at 8:40 am. We were outside waiting and finally at 9 am, I turned my phone on to contact someone. A 'driver' showed up and said he was taking us to the port. Instead of taking us directly to the port he dropped us off at the corner of a winery and said we were to wait there for a 'big bus' to take us to the port. Luckily the driver waited with us and a bus finally came and took us to the port. When we arrived at the port there was NO guidance on who or where we were supposed to go. We stood around for 1-1/2 and waited till the tour began. From the new port we went and picked up more passengers from the old port. We got to the hot spring and only had 30 mins. from the hot spring we went to the volcanic island and had a little over an hour. This 2 hour tour was considered a 'half day' tour. It was a waste of time and money. Overall, I am disappointed in the communication from the Travel Zone representative Dilimar. We made a decent amount for the trip and to not respond to messages, be delayed etc is not acceptable. I would book with another agency.
